The Perk : early Friday evening

Parker was stopping by to stock up on caffiene, mochacchinos, frappachinos, and espressos for the weekend ahead, and cream for M. "Can you put that in a big bottle? No, it's not for me. My cat has expensive tastes."

Angel swung by for a coffee before the dance. He smirked when he saw Parker.

"Are you still armed? I'm not hugging you if you're still armed."

Parker spun on her heel and grinned widely. "Wings!"

"Sunshine!" Angel replied with a grin.

Parker walked over to *whap* him on the arm, still smiling. "You saw me earlier and didn't go over to say hi? Because I was armed? Coward."

"Okay, that's a new record for you," Angel said, rubbing where she'd hit him. "And not a coward! Smart! You had a gun and shoes!"

"See? So why are you asking?" Parker stuck out one Prada-clad foot, then patted him on the arm she'd thwapped. "I promised Rory I wouldn't bring out the heavy artillery until Sunday. You're safe. You're here!" She glee'd a moment, then tried to settled into calmness. Didn't quite make it, though. "What'd you bring me?"

"Offers to beat the crap out of your ex without one single 'I told you so' in the mix," Angel replied.

Angela stopped off to get a snack before the dance, She waved to Parker, and beamed when she saw who Parker was talking to. "Hi!"

Angel smiled. "Angela Chase, vampire Slayer! Good to see you again!"

"Angel ... nolastname, Vampire!," Angela returned, realizing it didn't exactly work. "Same to you. How was the trip here? Portal?"

"Portal," Angel said. "I booked it all myself."

As this had involved using the internet, he so had not.

"And it got you all through without putting Logan's head on Cal's body or anything," Angela said, because yeah, she was surprised he managed to book it on his own. "I'm so impressed."

Angel was momentarily lost on the mental image Angela had just suggested.

He was also lost on wondering if such an event might somehow ease some of his relationship woes.

Angela waved a hand near Angel's face, noting that he seemed ... well, spacy. "Did I lose you? Or, oh my god, did something like that happen?"

Parker waved back. "Hey, Angela. How goes it? And look, one of the rare endangered alumni."

Angela oohed and ahhhed. "No doubt they're all wise from the time out of high school," she told Parker. "And I'm good. It's been quiet lately." She would ask Parker how she was, but she had an idea from radio, so instead she said, "So are you ready for the dance?"

"Surprisingly, yes. I have a great dress. I have at least a passable date. I have the promise of carnage, if he turns into a doof." Parker shrugged. "And yeah, an alumni to torment all weekend! The only thing this picture needs is Oreos to be perfect."

Angela pointed at the menu board. "They have Oreo brownies," she said. "And date? Spill. Who'd you terrorize into it?"

"Good point." Parker grinned, then rolled her eyes. "Seely Booth. As friends, and he asked me-- although I'm not sure why. It'll be entertaining, if nothing else."

Callisto stopped by the Perk, if she drunk enough flavouring syrup it would kind of like being drunk, right?

"Cal?" Parker blinked, then grinned. "Yay, you made it!"

"Parker," Callisto acknowledged. "Yeah, great that."

Parker cocked her head, looking sardonic. "So. You got somewhere better to be?"

"I have someplace I'd like to be," Callisto replied. "But that's not going to happen anytime soon."

"Where? And I, at least, am glad to see you. I know it's only been a month, not the whole summer, but still. I was afraid you wouldn't make it back here."
