Homecoming Part II [10pm-12pm]

Some of the streamers have begun to fall down by now but overall the hall is still looking the same as it was two hours ago, only with more people

Parker made a dismissing motion with her fingers, and said, "So, you ready for court next week? Cash enough to pay me back for the Vegas stake?"

"Good. Maybe this *will* work out without bloodshed, soul loss, or bankruptcy." Parker toasted him with the cup of punch, took a sip, then made a face and put it down. "Annnd that's my limit for the night."

That actually got a laugh. "God, yes. I saw the DJ and just about had a coronary. It's the same guy." She debated, decided she could always throw the punch, as well as a *real* punch, and said, "Jarod and I broke up on Saturday. All of this--" she gestured around the room, "is a little peppier than I'm really in the mood for."
