Homecoming Part II [10pm-12pm]

Some of the streamers have begun to fall down by now but overall the hall is still looking the same as it was two hours ago, only with more people

Ranma lets himself be pulled to the dance floor by Teddy. He DID promise... Dancing is embarassing... His tummy hurts. Maybe it's just the Mexican food?

Teddy put his hands on Ranma's hips and grinned down at him.

"You know how to dance, right?"

He shook his head and blushed. Eeekkk... Teddy is touching him...

"Wrap your arms around my neck," Teddy said, grinning. He of all people was going to teach Ranma to dance.

"And then we just move with the beat of the music."

He reaches up and carefully hugs his arms around Teddy's neck. Blush blush... He sways quite well actually, not that he'd notice it himself. He's busy looking up at Teddy very shyly and telling himself NOT to think ehat he's thinking right now.

Teddy adjusted his grip on Ranma's waist, bringing them slightly closer together.

"So he made you dinner, huh? That's rather sweet of him."

Ack! Blush! "Y-Yeah... It was really good..."

Teddy couldn't help but laugh. The blushing was much too adorable.

"Are you going to ask him out again?"

"T-To... ask him... agian...? I-I'm not sure if I can..." Sway sway. Teddy has pretty hair...

Teddy pulled Ranma closer still, not really noticing how intimate it looked.

"Well, you like him right?"

Or how intimate it FELT for the poor boy... "I-I... t-think so..."

"Then you should see if he wants to see you, in the romantic sense, again."

Because, despite the bat and the threatening, Teddy was a romantic at heart.

"R-R-Romantic... sense.." He's taking this all in very slow. Teddy is holding him too close for him to properly think...

Teddy frowned. "Are you feeling okay?"

"It's... not t-that.. I'm sick.. It's just... a lot for o-one day you know...?"

"Ah." Teddy nodded. "Do you want to go sit down or something?"

If you looked up earnest concern in the dictionary, which you wouldn't because it's two separate words, you would find a picture of how Teddy looks right now.

He shakes his head. "No... I... want to dance with you..."

Teddy grinned and spun Ranma once before pulling him back close.

"I think I'm getting the hang of this!"

Blush! "Y-yeah... You're good at it..."

Teddy shook his head. "Nah, I look like I'm having a seizure when I try to dance on my own."

"I haven't danced at all... at least you're brave..."

"Not a question of bravery, more one of complete lack of social graces on my part," Teddy replied with a snort.

"Either way... I admire it..."
