Homecoming Part II [10pm-12pm]

Some of the streamers have begun to fall down by now but overall the hall is still looking the same as it was two hours ago, only with more people

(Homecoming Part II is CLOSEDOPEN.)

Yes he's breaking Ranma again. Not in the same way though... He blushes and tries to fight out some words. "T-Thanks..." Or ONE word. That's good for now right. His hand moved but... he's still pretty close. Maybe it doesn't occur to him that he can step back now.

Another small smile. Man, he was doing that a lot today. But he couldn't help it. Ranma did look really cute. Had looked cute all night. Beautiful, even...

"Thanks for asking me to this, Ranma," he said after a moment of shuffled dancing. "I've had a really good time."

Ranma almost freezes in his surprise. "Y-You... mean it...?"

Re: Last Dance

Chad grunted a laugh, found himself thinking that it wouldn't be too much of a lean down to give Ranma a little kiss on the top of his head for being so damned cute. "Wouldn't have said it if I didn't."

Ranma has to look down for a minute to hide his blush, he continues to sway with Chad though. He sorta wishes Chad would pull him as close as Teddy did... but at the same time he's not sure...

"Did you have a good time?" he asked.

Ranma can't really judge that so much because he's been pretty unconforable most of this adventure. But that's not to say he's not happy. "I-I... I'm glad I came... with you..."

"Good," Chad smiled softly, feeling a definate little surge of happiness to hear that.

This hand was moving, away from Ranma's waists and up by his forehead, where it brushed aside some hair. Chad's knees bent a bit, and he stooped his shoulders, as if trying to close some of the distance in heighth between them.

He sorta knew what was coming but he was frozen in place. He was torn between wanting this to happen and not.

Re: Last Dance

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-10-07 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
"You know," Chad said quietly, almost in a whisper, as if telling Ranma some great grand secret that the rest of the world couldn't know, only he couldn't actually get close enough to his ear to actually whisper without bending over too much to keep dancing, "you have really amazing eyes..."

Ranma nearly wibbles at this, talk about buckling at the knees, he felt like his whole body was crumbling beneath him. Or maybe it's the Mexican food... No.. not this time... this time it was a face so close to his, Chad's cheek nearly brushing against his own. Calm domn Ranma... calm down... calm... down...

"They're the same," Chad elaborated after he didn't get any verbal response from Ranma. "In both your forms..."

Re: Last Dance

[identity profile] ranma-sao.livejournal.com 2006-10-07 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
Ranma looks shyly up at Chad. For some reason those few words melt him inside. He tries hard to convey the fact that he's happy for him noticing, and actually saying so. He wants to say something... he really does... Why does just that make him want to whisper something like 'I love you'?! It's just the closeness Ranma, your head is clouded. You're not thinking straight. Not at all. Literally! He manages to give Chad's hand a weakened squeeze...

Re: Last Dance

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-10-07 06:30 am (UTC)(link)
But Chad kept going. It was almost as if he were babbling; he marveled at himself, how, once again, he found that being around Ranma actually made him want to talk, especially when Ranma was so quiet like this. "And you really do look beautiful tonight, in that dress," he told him. "But I bet you would have looked just as good as a guy in a tux. Dashing, y'know?"

Re: Last Dance

[identity profile] ranma-sao.livejournal.com 2006-10-07 06:36 am (UTC)(link)
Ranma just doesn't know what he's suposed to do. He wants to say SOMETHING. But 'Thanks' just isn't the word for such a situation... and he can't say 'you too' because Chad was NOT in a dress. Thankfully. And no only is he blanking on the CONTENT of his response, he's LOST on forming words at all. It takes all he has to push out the word "C-chad.."

Re: Last Dance

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-10-07 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
It's almost ironic how Ranma worked up so much to say a single word, just to get it cut off by Chad's lips against his. Following an almost uncontrolable impulse, Chad had stopped dancing, cupped one of his massive hands against Ranma's cheek, leaned down, and kissed him. Not just a quick peck, either, but a full-on, deep, caught-in-the-moment locking of lips.

[identity profile] ranma-sao.livejournal.com 2006-10-07 06:58 am (UTC)(link)
Ranma is shocked. To say the very very very least. It's almost a wonder that he didn't faint right there. He just doesn't have it in his to pull away, or to move in closer. But he does close his eyes, slowly, as the feeling washes over him. He's still, and believe me, at this point he's so melted that Chad could do pretty much anything to him and he'd let him.

Re: Last Dance

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-10-07 07:06 am (UTC)(link)
Anything?

Luckily for Ranma, all Chad wanted at that point was a kiss. And he deemed it a pretty good kiss, too, because, for all the girls he's kissed, he'd never had one swoon like that before. Maybe it was because Ranma wasn't really a girl? It was a thought that did strike him for a moment, but it was the faintest moment. Chad really didn't care about that...

Chad pulled away from the kiss with a gentle smile and, before straightening, gave Ranma another kiss on his forehead.

[identity profile] ranma-sao.livejournal.com 2006-10-07 07:21 am (UTC)(link)
Seriously. Close to anything.

Ranma opens his eyes again, spell breaking fast. He can't move, he's petrefied there, holding to Chad's on hais and fish mouthing in a desperate atempt at... well... anything. He can't get his brain past the loop of omgChadkissedmeomgChadkissedme. It wasn't his first kiss... but... since Setsuna had kissed his while he was technically not aware, it was the first time someone had kissed HIM. And for real... this was the first time someone was so... intentional... like... he had actually WANTED to... He wanted... to kiss... me..? Me...? Is this... really real...? Another dream...? Some illusion? More like DElusion... that someone really did... like... me...?

A reaction like made it very difficult for Chad to be modest and not feel like some sort of fuckin' Don Juan. Either that, or Ranma was building himself up to give Chad the fiercest punch in the face ever in existence.

"Uh, Ranma? You okay?"

Re: Last Dance

[identity profile] ranma-sao.livejournal.com 2006-10-07 07:30 am (UTC)(link)
Answer. RANMA, listen to me, You have to SAY SOMETHING! ... But what? "C-C-Chado..."

Re: Last Dance

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-10-07 07:32 am (UTC)(link)
Ay, Dios, the accent. Now Chad's knees felt a little weak; he had an urge to ask him to call him Yasutora, just so he could hear that name being whsierped out by that voice...

"Yeah?"

Re: Last Dance

[identity profile] ranma-sao.livejournal.com 2006-10-07 07:35 am (UTC)(link)
He TOTALLY doesn't realize this next bit sounds adorable and corny. He really wants to know. "Am I... dreaming...?"

Re: Last Dance

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-10-07 07:37 am (UTC)(link)
The only thing Chad could do to keep himself from dying from the cuteness as well as deciding that he was a complete bad ass for having this effect on Ranma was to grunt. "Don't think so," he said around his attempts not to smirk. "Should I pinch you?"

Re: Last Dance

[identity profile] ranma-sao.livejournal.com 2006-10-07 07:40 am (UTC)(link)
"You should kiss me again... Then I'd be sure...No..." if he wasn't still sorta being held he'd be ploping down backwards on his ass, he can't seem to even hold himself up anymore.
