Homecoming Part II [10pm-12pm]

Some of the streamers have begun to fall down by now but overall the hall is still looking the same as it was two hours ago, only with more people

She beamed at Jack when he kissed her nose. "Water water everywhere, and lots of drops to drink," Evie almost sang. "No wonder Jonathan likes this. It's very freeing, isn't it?" She rubbed at her face. "But dizzy. Yes. Are *you* having a good time, Jack?"

"I am," he replied, grinning down at her. "And I want you to promise me that when you remember this in the moring, you won't be embarrassed."

"I have *nothing* to be embarassed about," Evie announced, "so I shall not be. I shall beee, be... me. Ha!"

It made Jack laugh again, absolutely delighted with her. "Good. Never be embarrassed and always be yourself. Because you're wonderful, Evie."

"Heeee. You're very nice. And you are a gentleman. Everyone is nice." Evie sighed happily, and yawned again. "Oooo. I should sit... down. Perhaps. Maybe."

Jack boggled slightly at being called a gentlemen, but he gallantly started to lead her to a chair. "Sitting down is a good idea," he agreed as they reached the chairs. "Thank you for the dance."

Evie smiled happily as she took her seat. "Yay. You're welcome. Thank you for dancing with me. Ooo, yes. I'm just going to rest here." She waved to Jack as he smiled and headed back to the dance floor.

Then she curled up for a little nap.
