Homecoming Part II [10pm-12pm]

Some of the streamers have begun to fall down by now but overall the hall is still looking the same as it was two hours ago, only with more people

(Homecoming Part II is CLOSEDOPEN.)

"And normally I would totally agree," Mac conceeded. "Damn that btrwmnfan83 for being so off-putting."

"See, you have to ignore stupid fans and just enjoy... Okay, somehow we talk about Bitterwoman when I'm trying to be all sweet about you. This is so bizzare, and yet totally awesome," Cally said.

"Conversational tangents? Totally a speciality," Mac said laughing slightly. "And you were worried about repeating yourself."

"Yeah, I was, wasn't I?" Cally said, swaying with the music. "Course, I wouldn't be repeating myself if I..." She leaned over to whisper something rather suggestive and dirty in Mac's ear.

Mac snorted in amusement, blushed and shook her head, "No, no you wouldn't."

Cally grinned at Mac. "This night has to never end. Because it is too awesome," she said.

"I think unless there's some kind of time-loop of the sort that only happens in Fandom, it kinda has to eventually."

"We'll just have to make it last as long as we can," Cally said. Of course, now would be when the song ends.

"...frak."

Mac laughed, "You just had to jinx it, huh?"

"That's me, universal jinxing machine," Cally said. "I guess that's my superpower. You find things that are navy, I jinx things by saying stupid stuff."

"I'm sure you're normally perfectly un-jinxy," Mac said reluctantly taking a step back.

Cally let her arms fall to her sides and nodded. "Yeah, probably," she said. "So... I guess this is the point where, uhhh... what happens now?"

Mac shrugged. "I guess it's back up to the dorms for us."

"You, ummm, really want to come, uhh, see Poe?" Cally said.

Mac glanced at the clock. Huh, midnight. "Maybe just a quick visit to meet the infamous lemming," she said.

"Okay," Cally said. "We can walk up there together."
