The park, Thursday morning
Aeryn doesn't like Thursdays in general, thanks to a certain class, and a couple of other conversations from this week mean she's glad to spend her morning doing something besides stressing. If that means dawdling through the park on John's orders on their way back from breakfast at J,GOB, she can deal with that.

"Keep walking," the woman says, nodding her head into a different direction, trying to get them to move that way.

Actually, the thing that set him off was less John and Aeryn talking to an older woman and some ugly dudes, and more Isabel being all lurky. He crouched near her. "Do you know what's up?"

And then he went quiet. "Did Aeryn just say mother?"

He winced when John shouted. "God, Crichton."

The Doctor is normally a meddler, but when he heard the word 'mother' with those big ears of his, he knew exactly not to interfere.
Domestics, even ones this charged, are not his thing. He watched carefully, ready to act in case it got too ugly.

"It's not like those stupid ducks have done anything since we came here," '75 agreed.
They got interupted by the scurfuffle between the teenagers and the strangers, ready to intervene when the aliens made a grab for the boy. Before they could do anything, though, the woman backed off.
With a sigh, the two troopers went back to their Duck Watch.
