JGoB, Saturday Late Morning/Early Afternoon

Weiss has biscuits and waits for his brand new fake sister Dawn for their handwavily planned hangout time. He's busy covering a biscuit in honey. Mm. Honey.

Dawn carried her scone over to the table and sat down to commence hanging. "Hey, you. Yay for making it through another week."

"I just kissed a puppet," she laughed, breaking off a piece of scone, "so I know exactly what you mean. Anything happen to you in particular?"

Dawn blinked. "Okay, wow. That's a lot for one week. I'm sorry about Jaye, but Molly's awesome. But not so awesome that you should spend your entire life pining after her if she chooses Ray."

"And, uh, yeah. Booth was looking for royalty, and I've been called a royal pain before, so I gave it a shot. I kissed his forehead, because even as a puppet, ew, no, so not happening." She made a face.

Dawn cracked up. "No, thanks, I'm good with not kissing Seely Booth. And that's kind of personal, don't you think? Not to mention scratchy."

"He looks exactly like my older sister's ex," Dawn told him, "so I can't even consider it without an entire Greek chorus showing up." Funny how she didn't have that problem with Sam, though.

"Yeah, I'm glad I didn't make it either. It was way weird being nominated in the first place. So, congratulations to us on not winning!" She took a bite of scone.

"I wouldn't know," her mouth quirked up in a smile, "and what do you mean you don't win stuff? What kind of stuff?"

"Maybe the air is escaping. Did you ever think of that?" Dawn gave him a very melodramatic version of the evil eye. "Maybe you're the evil air oppressor."

"Air is unimpressed," Dawn folded her arms across her chest, speaking on behalf of air. "It has seen millennia of torment at the lungs of mammals. It is talking overthrow."

"Yeah, me too. This is way worse than when I decided to give up veal."

"We should! Er, but what's our stance on balloons?"

[identity profile] lilpunkinbelly.livejournal.com 2006-10-14 08:43 pm (UTC)(link)
"If we're going to make people feel guilty about using air, we need to come up with an alternative..." She considered that. "Nitrogen's kind of underrepresented? Or helium. Everyone could be all squeaky."

[identity profile] lilpunkinbelly.livejournal.com 2006-10-14 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
"Be Fair to Air!" Dawn said, full of protesting vigor.

[identity profile] lilpunkinbelly.livejournal.com 2006-10-14 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Dawn was definitely giggling. "Air Rights!"

[identity profile] lilpunkinbelly.livejournal.com 2006-10-14 09:24 pm (UTC)(link)
"Have You Hugged Your Air Today?"

[identity profile] lilpunkinbelly.livejournal.com 2006-10-14 09:36 pm (UTC)(link)
"So, are we looking at a split in the free air movement already?" Dawn frowned. "Air needs love too, y'know."

[identity profile] lilpunkinbelly.livejournal.com 2006-10-15 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)
"Maybe if people hug each other, and the air just swirls around, uh, airily?" Yeah, Dawn had no clue.

"With no balloons," Dawn nodded, "because that's almost a hostage situation. Maybe later in the week sometime? A good protest takes planning, after all."
