Caritas [Saturday evening]

Greg hustled into Caritas, leaping over the bar and straightening his collar.

Nervous about anyone who might be stopping in? Don't be silly.

[For the sake of my brain, mod Tino if you want especially quick service and for large groups, please.]

Please, please sing embarrassingly in front of your parents.

Greg is prepared to lie about the nonexistant drinking age and vouch for anyone's sobriety if asked.

In case you want to, like, sit and talk without the bouncy chemist chatting at you.

Forgive any slow pinging.

Jack led Cedric to the bar, one arm around his shoulders, and pulled a stool out for him, waving at it with a flourish. "Have you been here before?"

"I don't believe I have," Cedric replied. "It's...interesting."

"Welcome, then. It's a lot of fun. Especially once people start singing." Jack nodded at Tino and ordered a green drink. "Do you want a drink?"

Cedric frowned. "I'm not sure on that part."

Isabel got to Caritas a bit earlier then when she told Max to meet her there. Smiling she went straight to the bar. "Hi!"

"They've got non-alcholic drinks--sweet ones, too." Jack rested his hand on Cedric's shoulder. "Trust me on this one, and I'll get you something you'll love, okay?"

Mrs. Kim took a seat at the bar and looked expectantly at Greg.

"Very well," Cedric said and nodded.

After the conversation with Missouri, Dean had been too restless to stay put so headed out to Caritas. A drink or two wouldn't go unwanted either. He sat down at the bar and ordered a beer from Tino.

"Hi!" Greg said, grinning. "Look, I dressed nicely. Are your parents here? I'm all set to be a model boyfriend."

Greg suddenly had a great deal of sympathy for deer.

Especially ones caught in headlights.

"Hi. Um. Ma'am. What can I get you?"

"Hmm, alcoholic or non?"

"You look wonderful," she said, leaning across the bar for a quick kiss. "And unfortunately, they're not. There was an emergency with my aunt and they couldn't come out. But they still sent Max." She was still smiling but it wasn't the happiest of smiles.

Kira sat at the bar and smiled. She waited for service, since she was patient like that.

Greg frowned a little. "I wasn't prepared for protective emo brothers...." he said worriedly.

"Non," he said.

Greg moseyed over and gave her a smile. "Hi, person I don't know."

When Buffy looked around at the bar, she was a little depressed in the fact that everyone there seemed younger than her. Sigh. "Can I get something fruity, the girlier the better?" she asked.

"Hi, bartender I also don't know," Kira said. "I'm in town for the visiting weekend, surprise. Can I get a glass of water, with a lime in it?"

Buffy spotted Dean and asked, "Okay, I know you're not old enough to be at a bar."

"Beer. Korean if you have it, in a clean glass."
