The Perk, Sunday Afternoon

Dawn bought herself a mocha, then sat down at one of the tables to wait for Buffy. Even with the tape barrier (and tape barrier violation this morning), she was going to be very sorry to see her sister leave.

Buffy smiled at her. "I doubt I will," she said. "I'm not sure I could handle all the 'Hey, Buffy, how was class yesterday?' and the 'Eat something, you look little compared to youself'. Give me another day and I was gonna start messing with people."

"Where are you going to be for Thanksgiving?" Dawn asked, pretty much ignoring the fact that she knew she needed to call and e-mail more. "And I'd like if you could visit more."

She smiled a little sadly and said, "I should probably get going. Planes have those stupid schedules and all." She really didn't want to go.

Dawn stood up. "Yeah. Stupid plane schedules." She sniffled a little, then hugged Buffy again, not wanting her to leave.

Dawn kept hugging her for a minute. "I'll call the second I land, okay? Or if it's too late, I'll call in the morning so I don't wake you up if you have to be at class early. School comes first."
