Caritas - Sunday evening [Open]

With the shipment that just arrived, Caritas was ready for trick or treaters in a couple days. GOB celebrated this by opening the box and taking a tiny bottle from it. "Here's to Halloween."

GOB was dressed as a drunk tonight.

We did the monster mash.

It was a graveyard smash.

It caught on in a flash.

Becky wandered in and took a seat at the bar. Yes, she did look, well, interesting.

She had her hair up in ringlets for one thing, with feathers in it, and was wearing a bright red, lowcut...frilly thing, and fishnet stockings.

And let's not forget the lacy fan she was toying with.

She drummed her nails on the bar.

GOB turned and gawked. "Hey, Becky," he managed to say. "Wanna get out of here, have some fun?" He was also dressed as a pervert tonight.

"No, I want a beer," she said. "I was gonna go to the party but then I realized I hate people."

"Okay," GOB said, making his way over to the glasses without turning around. This was becoming futile. "Tino. Beer. For her."

"So are you doing the costume thing at some point?" she asked, winking at Tino when she got her beer.

GOB took his eyes off Becky just long enough to glare at Tino. "I was going to do it on Tuesday. I can go get my costume if you want."

"No, I'll wait," she said. "I'm a prostitute from the old west. I thought it was creative and funny."

"Prostitutes from the old west knew what they were doing," GOB said. "Oh, and, yeah, funny. Because frills are funny. Ha."

"You're drunk," said Becky, because she has eyes.

"No, you're just that beautiful," GOB said sincerely. And maybe a little drunkenly.

"Well, yeah, but you're still drunk," she said.

"Well, yeah," GOB said. "Got these little things for tricker treats," GOB said, holding up a tiny bottle. "Wanted to make sure they were good for the kids."

"If they're good enough for kids, why give 'em away?" she asked.

"It's Halloween. You have to give the brats something when they ask or they act like jackasses and throw eggs at you," GOB said. "Or TP your yard. That was always the best."

"I was big on eggs," Becky said nostalgically. "And pumpkin-smashing."

"One time," GOB said, starting to laugh. "One time I thought I was throwing around that flash paper stuff I use for fire tricks. And I couldn't figure out where I got such big rolls of it, but I threw it all over this one jerk's yard and then set it on fire so it would do this really cool trick."

"But it actually was toilet paper. I wasn't allowed back in my mother's apartment complex for six months."

"You set someone's house on fire?"

Becky looked impressed. And a little jealous.

"Just the yard of my mother's apartment complex," GOB said. "And I set my brother's wife on fire at his wedding. And our brother-in-law at my brother's second wedding."

"I'm jealous."

Becky pouted.

"Hey, don't pout," GOB said. "Have another beer instead."

"Good idea!" Becky said. "I could set something on fire tonight, maybe. I even have a fan for the flames!"

She demonstrated, fanning the air with her big lacy fan.
