The Park: Evening

On the way back from the Halloween party last night, Marie and Jamie had discovered that part of the park had suddenly (and bizarrely) been transformed into a pumpkin patch.

After exploring the patch the idea came up to see if the story told by "Minus" from "It's the Fantastic Gourd Charles Beige" was really true.

So armed with a tent, sleeping bags, a laptop, DVD's and a handwavy invitation to Willow and English to join them, a small camp has been set up in the park to wait for the Fantastic Gourd to appear.

[ooc: The camp is locked to touchablemarie, willbedone and once_a_king. Great Pumpkinfest is open for all! Wait for the OCD is up!

The bonfire is open for all! Please be bringing your food and drinks. If you wish to stay overnight use the camp thread or if you have a tent use your own journal if you want privacy. If your character wants prezzies please sign into the appropriate thread.

Willow, in her Halloween costume once again, had a big bag of goods with her. "I brought things from the marshmellow group. Also? Stakes."

Peter, who was not in his Halloween costume, also had a bag of food. "Marshmellows as well as sausages and potatoes." He grinned at Willow. "No stakes though."

Schrodinger sat there, happily roasting a weiner on a stick.

He appears to have two sets of weiners. One for sharing and one for keeping to himself.

Probably best not to ask what his are made out of.

Mac is wrapped up in a lot of layers and has fruit to toast over the flames, because roasted banana really is necessary on a night like this. She might be regretting trying it with grapes though.

Door, mistress of layers, is quite warm in a coat, jumper and jeans, but is still enjoying wiggling her fingers over the fire. She's brought foodthings that are mostly leftovers from the party on Sunday, wrapped in foil, but she's perfectly willing to share them.

Mac scanned the camp area critically, looking for a clean, dry, lumpless patch. She turned back to Cally, "Where you think looks comfy, or comfy-ish anyway?"
