Rosette celebrated by doing nothing. Well, she hung out in the pews and read a lot and drank a lot of coffee, but that was about it.

Dawn wandered in, looking around at the inside of the church. In her bag were several empty water bottles that had previously held drinking water.

Rosette jumped a bit at the sound of the door closing behind Dawn, slamming her book shut with excitement. Holy crap! Sign of Random Hoildays worked! On the first day!

But she paused, reigning herself in. Shouldn't be too excited, Rosette. She might actually...you know...want something. That might involve work...

She put on a sweet smile as she shifted out of the pew. "Hello, dear; just here for a visit, or is there something I can help you with?"

Dawn fidgeted and lowered her backpack off her shoulder. She'd never had to do this before--usually, the holy water just appeared. "Uh, I'd like to get some holy water, please?"

Rosette smiled a bit. "That all? Been a while since anyone came in lookin' for that. But, of course," she set her hands on her hips in mock authority. "I am required to ask what for, although I think I can guess."

She would tactfully keep the thoughts she had regarding Dawn not seeming the type of person for that, but, like she was really one to talk.

"Er, just in case vampires attack me on my trip to Las Vegas," Dawn offered. "It's good to be prepared."

A small laugh escaped Rosette; precaution made a little more sense that this girl actually going out an actively using the resources. "I couldn't agree more. Help yourself; there's a little tank of it over there in the little niche by the tabernacle." She nodded in the general direction.

"Thank you," Dawn smiled and headed over to the little niche. She promptly began filling water bottles. "Do I owe you anything?"

Rosette considered this for a moment; as far as she knew, she didn't exactly have a price list for services, and could dole out Holy Water as much as she liked, so long as she didn't go over what the Order sent her.

"Well, the last time someone came in to get some, he paid me back with vodka." She smirked. "But if you're lacking in alcoholic offerings, I think I can let you off this time."

"Thank you," Dawn put the last bottle into her bag. "I'm too young to buy alcohol anywhere but Caritas."

Rosette chuckled a little. "Yeah, me, too. Can't blame a girl for hopi--"

She cut herself off. "Hey, now I know where I recognize your from. You're the girl who gave me the sucker at Halloween, right?"

Dawn grinned and nodded. "Yeah, I guess I am. I barely recognized you out of costume."

Rosette? Totally taking that as a compliment. She giggled a little. "Thanks! Yours didn't exactly make it difficult to recognize you, once I got past all the hair. But I'd say that definately makes us even. Sucker, Holy Water, fair trade, definately."

"I'll totally keep you in suckers if you keep me in Holy Water," Dawn offered, "Do you have a flavor you like best?"

Looking up a bit as though imploring the Big Guy's help in this very important decision, Rosette looked ready to answer a few times, stopping to think again, and repeating. Finally, she concluded with a shrug and a, "Not really. Mix it up; keeps things exciting."

"I can definitely do that." She dried her hand off on her jeans, then offered it. "I'm Dawn Summers."

Rosette gave it a firm shake, with an accompanying nod. "Sister Rosette Christopher. Nice doin' business with ya, Dawn."

Her shoulders lifted as she grinned. "...That's also a really, really pretty name!" It was...picturesque.

"Are you Sister Christopher, then?" Dawn asked. "I'm not really sure how your form of address works. And thank you! I was much luckier than my sister Buffy."

"Buffy? Eee..." While Dawn's name made Rosette think of summer mornings, Buffy's made her think of someone trying to rub the sky out to a shine. She definately agreed with Dawn on that point.

"And just Rosette is fine, don't even need the Sister if you don't want."

"Okay, then, Rosette," Dawn said with a nod. "It's nice meeting you. I should go pack, though."

"Have a good trip, then!" Rosette said with a small beam, adding quickly, because it sounded like something she should add, "God bless! And here's to hoping you don't have to use the Holy Water."

"No kidding! Southern fried crispy vampire's soooooo not the way I want to spend my field trip," Dawn called as she left.

...Great, now Rosette was hungry. She went to go find Chrono and kick him into making her some thing to eat.
