Barbossa was watching an epic battle of weetiny trolls and weetiny bunnies play out in front of him.

The squirrels were taking bets on the outcome.

So there was a legitimate reason for him to be distracted--other than the bottle of rum next to him, of course--for why the broadcast was late.

"This be the pirate, it be Thursday 'n ye all be knowin' the way this be workin' by now," he said into the microphone. "Call if ye be havin' a request fer songs or problems wit' yer wenches." He laughed. "Here be a Britney Spears song fer ye -- she be apparently in the market fer a different man who be interested in her treasure 'n not so concerned wit' hygiene--be ye thinkin' I have a chance, listeners?"

"Oops, I Did It Again" blasted through the speakers.

Barbossa will accept ones begging for "anything but Britney Spears, please, please God."

"Hey, Barbossa. Got a request and dedication for Janet Fraiser. It's her birthday today."

"What can I be playin' fer the wench, then?" Barbossa asked.

'You Say It's Your Birthday', by the Beatles? Because no matter how old she feels, the Beatles are older."

Just not by much.

"I can certainly do that," Barbossa promised. "This be 'Ye Be Sayin' It Be Yer Birthday by the Beatles fer the lovely wench Janet," he said, turning the song on.

"And you can do better than Britney," Parker said, hoping Miho was listening. She needed all the goodwill there that she could get. "Just saying."

Or tell Barbossa his dreams to marry Britney Spears might be a wee bit unrealistic...

...which is more like a zoo today than normal.
