Our Lady of Fandom; Friday [ 11/10 ]

The sign outside of the church had been decorated with two pictures (badly drawn in crayon) of horses flanking the message for today:

FRIDAY:
MARTINI!
...but not that kind! Inquire within and learn all about it!

Rosette was particularly proud her obscure religious holiday discovery of the day and, when she wasn't decorating the interiour of the church with the Christmas lights from the basement and cheap Halloween streamers, she and Chrono were decorating masks with supplies he had will soon be picked up from All and Sundries. They each had one too. Chrono's was just really glittery, red, but Rosette's had lots of fake feathers and sequins.

[[ open for all your churchly needs, or just come to celebrate obscure, ancient Latvian harvest holidays as Rosette's interpreted them.... ]]

[[ETA: One of these days, I will remember /center, I will....]]

River sneaked into the church: She hadn't visited the nun for some time and missed her.

Looking around the place it was appearantly going through some redecoration.

River walked up to them. "Happy Martini," she replied. "what is a not drink-martini?"

She grinned at Chrono's fakely bejewelled mask. "Yes. I'd like to make a mask."

River just nodded and sat down. She picked up some materials and began making a mask.

((ooc: Bedtime!))

John was almost bouncy as he ran into the church. "Rosette! I need a martini! We have a go-cart motor!"

John playfully slapped his forehead. "Oh, I keep forgetting you were born before cars and houses and electricity."

His grin approached epic proportions. "A go-cart is a miniaturized horseless carriage that runs on liquefied ghosts and hellfire. And, it goes really really fast and is really really fun."

"Well, sorta. But liquefied ghosts and hellfire sounds cooler than 'age-distilled pressure-treated organic remains' and less ooky."

"Um. Sure?" He looks around. "What's this for, anyways?"

"Yay masks! Um. Martinis later? With booze? Clothing Masks optional?"

"Yus, indeedy." John does not bounce like Blair. TOtally doesn't.
