Billy, still enjoying the dismal weather, found himself near the afore mentioned TARDIS.

The Doctor glanced out and spotted the young man in the rain. He didn't attempt to interrupt him, though.

Billy spotted the man in the lawn chair and waved. "Hi."

"Hello," the Doctor closed his book and looked up. "Unpleasant weather we're having, eh?"

"By most people's standards, yes. I kinda like it though."

"Would be better with a bit more grass and a spring breeze," the Doctor said. "This sort of weather is for doldrums, on the whole."

"It could stand to be a bit warmer." Billy agreed.

"Very Victorian, this conversation. Musn't arouse the passions, now, should we?" the Doctor chuckled. "What is it that you enjoy about this weather?"

Billy laughed. "Hmm, I like the way the world looks when it rains, when it's not so cold I have to bundle up I like to feel the rain on my face, and mostly, I like the sound of the rain."

"Very poetic," the Doctor said. "But you'll probably catch something, attitude like that. Bound to get the sniffles."

Billy shrugged. "That's always a possibility. But there's the same risk as playing in the snow right?"

"Very possibly," the Doctor said. "Always a possibility that frogs will rain from the sky, as well."

Billy paused a moment at that. "That's actually something that can happen I think." he said. "Like, they get sucked up by a tornado and then they rain down somewhere else."

"Interesting theories," the Doctor said. "Would be fantastic if it were all true."

"What sort of theories?"

"Human potential and leaps in evolution," the Doctor said. "I'd say it was pure nonsense, but from whatever Earth this Dr. Suresh is from, it might be quite true."

"I'm not entirely sure what you just said, but I'm guessing most of the shit that goes down here would likely make that Dr. Suresh's head explode."

The Doctor chuckled. "Quite possibly," he said. "How are you today, Jane?"

Jane takes off her hat and scratches her head.

"Fucking sober." she says. "And yerself?"

"Sober and somber," the Doctor said. "The weather isn't helping."

Jane looked up at the sky, looked a bit like it might rain.

"I kinda like this weather. It's very... Crisp. Like an apple when it's perfectly fucking fresh."

"That's a very good way to think of it," the Doctor said. "Fan of apples, are you?"

"Don't know," the Doctor said. "Yet some people don't. Odd things, people who don't like apples."
