Our Lady of Fandom; Tuesday [ 11/14 ]
Rosette was bored and thinking that she didn't particularly like any of the holidays for today, not enough to try to think of something to celebrate, anyway, so she started planning an excursion throughout the town when she remembered her conversation with John last week. It was Tuesday! Training! She remembered because it was allitrative.
TUESDAY:
Tuesday Training!
How to become a Warrior of God. Or Gods.
Of course, she had no idea what that meant or what sort of training that would entail, but she'd cross that bridge if she came to it.

Remembering that he'd promised Rosette to try and stop in more often, he stepped inside and looked around, a little curious about the sign out front.

Because really? The last thing Fandom needed was to get started on some sort of Crusade.

She shrugged. "Oh, I dunno. Start out light, go over important stuff like the Bible and then maybe history, of important previous Warriors, and then, y'know, we get into the guns."
That was how they did it at the convent, anyway. It seemed like a good model. Worked well enough for her, anyway.

"Er...quite. Well, certainly...starting with a biblical history of famous warriors would be an excellent idea. Do you have a particular enemy in mind, or is this just...a 'being prepared' sort of endeavor?"

Not since the almost-Apocolypse, anyway. And there wasn't even any actual fighting then.

"Think of this as a vacation. I'm certain you'll get back to having missions soon, and when you do, you'll be rested and ready to put even more energy into them. Plus, you'll have an advantage over the other nuns in your order, because I'll bet not many of them have met the sorts of people you're getting to know here."

"S'far as missions go, though, just got one left. One big one. After that, I'm retirin'..." Her slump seemed to become more exhausted. Probably best not to mention that she meant retiring in a very perminent sense of the word.

"Perhaps...you could just take a semi-retirement. Like me, for instance. I mean, not that I'm retired, but...I mostly do quiet things like teach and thwart, with the occasional mission added in."
Aside from the times that demons decided to take on personal vendettas, that was. Really, a pissy demon could put a major kink in one's vacation.

"John!" she grinned brightly and scrambled out of the pews to meet him in the aisle. "Did'ya see? I'm implimenting training, like we talked about last week!" She's looking quite proud of herself.
