Our Lady of Fandom; Tuesday [ 11/21 ]
Although Rosette had changed the sign out front to alert everyone that today was the celebration of the Presentation of Mary, she didn't feel like participating too much. She was feeling an adventure day coming on and wasn't going to stay cooped up in the church. Chrono, however, was, deligiently tending to a small memorial in between tending to the congregation of little old ladies.

Late That Night.
Chrono looked up from where he was laying down, reading in a pew. "Posters? For what? And, good Lord, you haven't been in John's vodka again, have you?"
"Pppssshhh, no; it wash...wash free drinks! At Caritas! And Cake! I brought you some!" Rosette reached into one of her ammo pouches and produced a very smushed cupcake. "Look! The frosting's red! It made me...made me think of your...your eyyyesss, Chr'no..."
Chrono was there to catch her just as she fell in a bit of a drunken swoon. Eeeesh. Well, she had been doing well. He quickly readjusted her, slinging her arm over his shoulder, and helped guide her toward the basement.
"Nooo, Chr'no, I can't go to bed..."
"Yes, you can. You need to, Rosette."
"But I...but I gotta make the posters! Azi--Azira---Aziraphallama's gonna pick som eup in the mornin'."
"S'okay, Rosette, I'll get 'em done for you. What are they for?" He carefully laid her down on her bed, gently taking off her veil, her boots, as she explained. "We're gonna do a food drive, and send all the food to some orphan-inagges for Thanksagivin'...like they...like they use ta...like they use ta do for us..."
Needless to say, Chrono was a little shocked, and then wilted, as he felt bad for being surprised. Why should he be surprised that she would think to do something like that? It was perfect Rosette, really. He gave her a light kiss on her forehead. "That's an excellent idea, Rosette. You don't worry about those posters, I'll go make some up right now and they'll be ready for Aziraphale in the morning. Besides, I have better handwriting than you do, anyay."
She stuck her tongue out him before saying softly, "Thanks, Chrono."
He just smiled, and waited to make sure she fell asleep okay before going back upstairs to the church.
