Our Lady of Fandom; Thursday [ 11/23 ]

There were plenty of boxes, with glittery signs with arrows underneath the "Please place donations here! Thank you!" instructions by the church entrance, awaiting everyone's holiday blessings.

If Rosette found any canned yams, however, there may be trouble.

[[ as Rosette's Thanksgiving plans are still a little uncertain, this is just a general drop-off post, put up early because my RL plans are turning out to be just as fuzzy ]]

Aiden has tomato soup.

It's possibly best not to try and work out why of all the foods she could have brought with her when she moved here, that's the one she picked.

She left a couple of cans in one of the boxes in the spirit of Thanksgiving. It seemed like a good way to kick off her time in a new place.

Jane pulled the wagon (http://www.gummylump.com/files/product/b_1906.radio-flyer-trav-ler-wagon-22-2.jpg) up to the church.

The wagon was piled high with all sorts of canned and nonperishable foods that Apu said were good for such things.

And peaches. Lots of canned peaches.

"Anybody t'home?"

John dropped off some cans of corn with the labels removed and "TOTALLY CANNED YAMS YO" written on the side with sharpies and "it's really corn" on the bottom.
