"H.E.L.P.eR! Post that sign out front, and stop eating the damn test tubes!"

The robot wheeled out the front door of the gleaming metal building, and shoved a small sign in the tiny front lawn with a shout of "Meememmmeememmememee!"

The sign read:

Vaja fluffed her hair and adjusted her cleavage. A desperate geeky type should be easy prey. She opened up the door and stepped inside.

"We don't sell any gum," Dr. Venture said, not looking up from the desk he was sitting at. "We're a research laboratory, not a convenience store."

He apparently had encountered some confusion on that front earlier in the day.

"I'm not looking for gum," Vaja said. "I was just curious about what kind of experiments you're performing."

"Right now, we're waiting for some test subjects," Dr. Venture said. He finished writing something and looked up. "Dear god that's a lot of exposed skin for this weather."

Vaja stuck out her chest. "I don't get cold easily," she said, smiling at him while inwardly disappointed that the man wasn't better looking. Oh well, you work with what you have.

"Well then, I suppose you might as well not wear excess," Dr. Venture said, pushing his glasses back up his nose. "Anything I can help you with?"

Vaja perched on the edge of Dr. Venture's desk. "I was curious about your work," she said. "I was passing by and saw your sign. Science fascinates me."

"Well, what can I say?" He drew a hand across his bald head. "You spite God, beat him at his own game, make oodles of money from the government."

"What kind of tests are you doing here?" Vaja asked, looking around the room. "You must be so smart."

"Oh, I'm a certified genius. Science is in my blood, you could say. Right now, I'm working on a teleporter. Found some old notes of my father's the other day, might actually have one that works, now." Dr. Venture smiled. "That sort of thing turn you on?"

Vaja wriggled a little in glee. "That's incredible," she said. "I just love a man with a brain."

"And I happen to love a woman with breasts," Dr. Venture said. "So how about we blow this popsicle stand and paint the town red, eh?"

Vaja leaned toward Dr. Venture, putting her cleavage on full display. "I think I'd love that," she said. "Can we stop by my home first? I should just let my sisters know I'm going out."

"Sisters, why, we could have them come with us, even," Dr. Venture stood up and brushed off his jumpsuit. "Lead the way, madame."

"Right this way," Vaja purred, leading him out the door and starting toward Efferton Manor. "I'm sure my sisters would love to meet you, too."

"Well, if they're half as pretty as you, well, I may not be able to contain myself," he laughed in that 'aren't I so clever' sort of way. "But I suppose there is plenty of me to go around."

"I'm sure," Vaja agreed with a light laugh.

As they neared the Manor, she looked around to make sure no one was nearby to witness her next action. She withdrew a cudgel from her voluminous skirts and raised it over Dr. Venture's head. She struck him soundly and caught his body as he collapsed, then dragged him into the Manor.
