Church - Sunday Evening

With most of the trolls called away to guard Efferton Manor, the church was left with a small group of trolls who were currently looking blankly at a magazine they'd managed to find after destroying one of the businesses yesterday.

Upon very close examination, the trolls wondered why their females didn't wear skimpy stuff like that girls in the magazine did.  Erf and Dorf, in fact, wanted to form an united front and make their females wear this type of attire.

This plan was quickly shot down when they realized that their females would kill them dead if they even tried.

At least they still have their imaginations and the magazine.

"It's... here," Door says, feeling her way along the outside wall until the door that's already there reveals its presence to her. It doesn't even take much to convince the mechanism to open, just a whisper of suggestion about how very very clever it is to be hidden that way.

Jane is more then a little impressed.

"How about I go first?" She said stepping up with her rifle. "Here, you know how to use this here?"

Jane offered Door a spare Navy Colt.

"Not a clue," Door answers honestly. "I know you point that end away and squeeze that bit, and don't point it at anything you don't intend to shoot--" Hey, she's walked past Gun Club when the signs are up. "--but that's all."

Choir Box

Peter peeked in the window from the outside wall with Professor Covington on his back. Not immediately sensing danger, Peter climbed through the window into the choir box. "And we're in," he whispered.

"It's kind of disgusting how you can do that," Janice said under her breath as she slid to her feet and unholstered her revolver. "In a really useful way, but still."

It seemed a little strange to be just arriving in the middle of a church sanctuary, rather than walking in the front door like everyone else. But with a huge beat of wings and the faint sound of music, Aziraphale did just that, holding tightly to Jesse to bring the preacher along with him.

As disrespectful as it seemed to be weilding a weapon inside the church as well, he was also doing exactly that. Because carrying a sword wasn't nearly as disrespectful, he figured, as what the trolls were up to.

Jesse stepped away from the angel as soon as humanly possible. Cass would laugh his ass off at his getting cuddled up to one of those winged assholes. Yeah, well fuck Cass.

He looked around for these trolls he'd been hearing about and something to use as a good club. Too bad he didn't have that lunch tray from the Doc's creepy sub.

Aziraphale gave Jesse an understanding smile. Necessity made for strange bedfellows.

"Do you have any idea if these creatures have a particular weakness we could exploit?" he asked, also looking around for the inevitable welcoming party. "I had a bit of trouble with the one I encountered yesterday."

And hadn't that tweaked his pride a bit.

Bell Tower

Door tumbles out of the wall, pulling Jane behind her by the collar. The makeshift door closes behind them, and Door immediately starts scouting the room looking for the real one to open for the others.

"Intruders!" A large, armored troll moved towards Jane, looking menacing and pissed off.

Jesse, still wielding his candle stand, left the Sanctuary (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/1253042.html?thread=57003698#t57003698) and headed for the Bell Tower door.

"Don't know if we're gonna need some way to break it down."

"Er...we could always go in the way we got inside the church. Although I can't guarantee we won't run into trolls on the other side. Or, we can just break it down. It couldn't be that strong a door."

Aziraphale eyed the door, and then cocked his head at Jesse to let the man decide.

Janice came scrambling down the hallway from the choir box (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/1253042.html?thread=57003186#t57003186), hoping like hell that troll wasn't hot on their heels. Reloading a revolver on the run? Really sucked.

So did getting all excited about the opportunity to kick a door down . . . only to find that someone had beaten her to it (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/1253042.html?thread=57167794#t57167794).

"Dammit!"

Well, at least the broken-off door was still lying there, so she gave it a few rather petulant kicks just for good measure.

Door? Running for the fucking bells. Fairly sure it wasn't meant literally, but knowing Fandom, looking carefully upwards just in case. Well, also for bell-pulls. Which DON'T SEEM TO BE THERE WTF.
