Sparky Repairs, Thursday

The twins were rather giddy with excitement when they finally opened Sparky's-after Hikaru's last final. Not only were finals over, and there was no more studying to do until next semester, but they were leaving tomorrow for Japan! They'd have to spend tonight packing for the trip, the Kimono from the pageant needing to be packed very carefully.

They also went about writing a note for John and Agnes about their leave of absence since they were going to be gone until the 2nd of Januray.

Sparky's is open~

Maia opened the door to Sparky's with both hands.

"Ooooooh shiney! What kind of store is this? Hi! Oh! You two look almost exactly alike!"

They blinked a little before answering-why almost? "It's a repair shop."

"Rapair shop?" the girl seemed on the verge of a pout. "So, you don't sell anything?"

Mary stood off to the side and looked vaguely amused.

"Oh, hello Miss. Poppins." Kaoru nodded a hello as Hikaru answered the little girl. "Well...I suppose we could sell the nuts and bolts, but I really don't think you'd want those."

"Hello Kaoru." she nodded back. "Your other finals are going well I trust?"

"We're all done with them actually." He smiled. "And we're hoping they did go well."

[[SP until later~]]

Later that afternoon, after she'd stopped by the post office and the Perk, Setsuna figured she'd visit whoever was working at the shop today while she was in town.

Seeing that it was the twins, her mood lifted a little. "Hey, guys."

The twins had moved on from their previous excitement as the day got duller. They had been playing computer solitaire when Setsuna came in.
"Hi Setsuna~!"

"So," Setsuna said, leaning against the counter and craning her neck a little to see what they were doing, "I sent Yuunagi out today...." There was a sad sigh at the end.

Kaoru tilted his head to the side in confusion.
"Can't be parted for that long from her?" Hikaru smirked and clicked the last card into place, causing the usual card explosion/dance to ensue on the screen.

[[ack. SP until later]]

Setsuna shook her head a little, eyes still trained on the screen, because that little explosion/dance was kind of mesmerizing. "Never very easily. My first month or so here, I wasn't actually allowed to have her. I was flirting with insanity..."

"At home, do you carry her around all the time? That'd be pretty bad ass." Hikaru glanced over at her, trying to imagine it as the last few cards bounced in long arching paths across the screen.

Setsuna nodded. "I kept her under wraps, but, yes, I was allowed to carry her around campus without a problem. It'll be nice to be able to have her with me all the time for when I'm in Kyoto and visiting Mahora."

He raised his eyebrows a little, "Is your campus that dangerous?"

Setsuna couldn't help but smirk a little. "It can be."

"That would certainly keep one on their toes." Kaoru added in, a new game of solitaire beginning.

"You guys will come visit Mahora after Christmas, right?" There may have been small bouncing in that question.

"Yea!" They both nodded; just talking about their trip tomorrow was getting them excited again.
"As long as you can stomach a little visit to Ouran with us?"

She chuckled a little. "Well, I can't gaurantee I can stomach it, but we'll see. Your, um...other friends at Ouran. Are they....much like your friend who visited over Parent's Weekend?"

"God no. One like that is hard enough to tolerate."

A hand drifted to Setsuna's chest; she felt suddenly like she could breath again. "Good....he was...well, yeah. That's reassuring to know."

"The part we don't get about Tono, is that it's never an act with him. He really is that extravagent..." Kaoru shock his head a little-his performance during parents weekend had been no less than embarassing.

"Oh, well, if you're coming to visit Mahora, I"m sure Ayaka will hear about it, and you'll be exposed to here, and she acts almost exactly the same, so don't feel too bad. Maybe every Japanese school comes with a person like that."

"So what's your school like?" It was a bit reassuring that they weren't the only ones who had to deal with that level of...idiot.

"Very large," Setsuna grinned a bit. "Mahora's one of the largest academies in Japan, I think. It pretty much overtakes the small town where it's located. Because of its size, it's kind of a little bit of everything, so it's hard to describe. When we're visiting, we'll probably just be visiting a few of my classmates, really. It'd be impossible to do anything like showing you around the place in the short time we have."

"What about yours?"

"We go to a private school."
"And considering it's in Tokyo, it takes up a surprising amount of land."
"Probably not nearly as large as you're describing. Most of the land it does take up is useless decorations too..." Kaoru tapped his chin a little, remembering the extensive rose maze their school had, which served no purpose whatsoever.

Setsuna nodded a little, then gave the twins a look. "Do we really think it's a good idea to throw Ranma into a visit at a private school?"

They thought about it for a moment, but the image was really more amusing than anything else. "Well, why not?"

Setsuna shook her head. "All I can think of is that expression about a bull in a china shop..."

"Although I'd love to see the expressions on some of their faces when Ranma starts talking to them with his...unique use of our language. I've never known someone who neglects the formal altogether." Hikaru smirked a little.

"Oh, God," Setsuna's eyes widened as she gasped. "I didn't even think of that; I've gotten so used to his...um...informality..." A small groan escaped her, the flush of embarrassment already coming to her. "This is going to be a disaster..."

Already planning a lecture for Ranma on proper conduct and cleaning up his grammar? You know it.

Both laughed at her reaction; bringing disaster to the Host Club could never be a truely bad thing.
"They're fairly forgiving."

"Not necissarily a good thing," Setsuna said with a small grunt. She couldn't have Ranma exactly acting like a cad in front of the Mahora girls, either.

"Yea, guess it'd be best to train him a little before we bring him into public." Hikaru joked, clicking a few things on their laptop.

"Heavy duty decorum session on the plane, it's decided," Setsuna nodded. "That way, there's no where he can run."

"Speaking of the plane, we need to pack tonight." Kaoru sighed a little at the thought of it.

"Half my suitcase is probably still packed from my last trip home," Setsuna said with a light grin.

"Lucky," Hikaru leaned an elbow on the counter, not looking forward to it.
"A little off topic, but I'm looking forward to the food." Kaoru smiled a little dreamily. They hadn't had a good meal since they'd gotten there.

Setsuna chuckled. "Everyone always comments on how much I eat when I'm home for a job. I'm sure the food's going to be really good at your guys' place, too." She beamed. "Y'know, after talking to you two and Isabel earlier, I'm really starting to get pretty excited. We're really leaving tomorrow, for more than a week!"

"I know! It's felt much longer than a few months." Hikaru almost seemed to bounce in his spot.
"And you won't be disappointed with the food."

"I hope not," Setsuna grinned. "But, uhhh, I guess I better let you two get back to your..." Another lean in on the counter to glance at the computer screen, "very important work."

They pouted a little but nodded. "Yea, it's life or death sometimes here at Sparky's." Hikaru twirled his finger around in the air.

"Well, don't work yourselves too hard then. See you guys tomorrow."
