Monday evening, the Devil's Nest

Schrodinger had not been say most of the day in Fandom. This was because he had gone home for Christmas to spend time with his evil Nazi Overlords.

However, around 5:30 P.M., he arrived at the Devil's Nest to open it early. He even put up some decorations and broke out holiday theme drinks.

Had he been told about the party that was planned here? Had he seen the fliers up and around the town?

Had he just known?

No man can say.

Lucifer's club, the Devil's Nest was open for Christmas. By a Nazi catboy. Wrap your head around that one.

[[Up early so that you can have extra time to frolic and play in the Christmas party. There will be additional party OCD going up in the lounge section, so wait for that before going in the Lounge. To the best of my knowledge, the bar and the dance floor are still fair game. And everything Schrodinger is serving is holiday related. And I mean everything.]]

"See, now I did have to get something for you, if you got something for me," Chad said with a touch of fondness as he took the the box, gave it a tentative little shake. "Can I open it now?"

Teddy nodded. "It's Christmas, of course."

"True," Chad nodded, and opened the box, shifting through the glitter to extract out the little guitar held within. "It's a wee tiny guitar," he observed with a grin. "That's awesome. Thanks, Ted."

It definately called for a quick kiss.

Teddy was never one to turn down kisses.

"I'm glad you like it."

"It's very cool," Chad said, "but I think it'll be a little hard for me to play. Easier to travel with, though..."

Teddy pushed Chad's shoulder and laughed. "You are such a dork."

"Though you may have a point, maybe I should make some for the whole band. You guys could be the first ones to make it big by playing miniature instruments," He said, managing to keep a straight face for only a few second after he finished.

So, Mr. Alphabatizes his Comic Books was calling him a dork, huh?

Chad grinned a little. "I got all these miniature top hats in my closet to round the theme out. It'll be kinda...ironic."

Mr. Alphabetizes His Comic Books knew a dork when he saw one. They know their own kind.

"Do even want to know why you have mini top hats in your closet?"

"A part of a terms of surrender I've yet to fulfill."

Teddy blinked a few times before deciding that it was Fandom and it was best to not think too hard about some things.

"Okay then. Surrendering with top hats," Teddy said. "That's definitely new."

"They're supposed to go on frogs that are supposed to be released in the kitchen of Cafe Fina," he explained a little further, as if that would help.

Re: The Food!

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-12-26 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
"How would you get the hats to stay on the frogs?" Teddy wondered idly.

Re: The Food!

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-12-26 05:20 am (UTC)(link)
A long moment of silence followed.

"That...is a very good question."

Re: The Food!

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-12-26 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
"Maybe if you put little rubber-bands on them to keep the hats attached to their heads," Teddy suggested.

Re: The Food!

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-12-26 05:31 am (UTC)(link)
Chad nodded. "I do have plenty of rubber bands."

Re: The Food!

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-12-26 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
"There you go! Surrender plans salvaged."

And this was ranking pretty high on Teddy's list of weird conversations. Not as weird as the 'So my boyfriend has a maybe twin brother and they are the reincarnated souls of the Scarlett Witch's children who didn't actually exist' and 'you're royalty and everyone else in the royal family got eaten by Galactus, wanna be the new emperor?' conversations, but weird nonetheless.

"That's not necissarily a good thing," Chad told him. "Now, I got not excuse not to do it."

Re: The Food!

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-12-26 05:43 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh," Teddy said. "Well the rubber-bands would probably be cruel to the frogs."

Re: The Food!

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-12-26 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
"That's more like it," Chad grinned a little. "And we can't be cruel to frogs."

Re: The Food!

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-12-26 05:47 am (UTC)(link)
"Exactly!" Teddy nodded solemnly. "It's not easy being green after all."

Re: The Food!

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-12-26 05:55 am (UTC)(link)
"I wouldn't know," Chad admitted. "I've never been green."

Re: The Food!

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-12-26 06:01 am (UTC)(link)
Teddy grinned. "Well take it from someone who knows, it's not."

Re: The Food!

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-12-26 06:04 am (UTC)(link)
"Shapeshifting thing?"

Re: The Food!

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-12-26 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
Teddy nodded and hoped that didn't weird Chad out. "Yeah."

Re: The Food!

[identity profile] senor-chado.livejournal.com 2006-12-26 06:21 am (UTC)(link)
It didn't. "Cool."
