The Devil's Nest, Friday Night

The half price sign was back up in the hands of the trolls, for any teachers still in town for break who wanted affordable alcohol.

The beginnings of New Years decorations were appearing all over the club. Mazikeen was trying to find a way to get silver umbrellas for the occasion. It was starting to frustrate her.

[[ooc: mod Mazikeen, as I am having visitors from out of town tonight.]]

Elliot needed a drink, and she thought karaoke might make her cry -- especially the way the zombie band smelled.

So she went to the Devil's Nest, and took a seat at the bar. "Can I have a banana colada? With a lot of extra rum."

"Hey Dr. Reid!" Jamie said taking a seat next to her. "Didn't you tell us in class that we should never drink?"

Elliot took a sip of the drink that I'm modding, sorry, hi and assumed an official tone. "I think I said not to drink until you were of legal age," she intoned. "Plus, if your family was like mine you would totally celebrate getting back to Fandom with some cocktails."

"Family issues?" Jamie asked. "Yo! Get this lady a double! and give me a triple so I can catch up."

Jamie took a sip of his drink. "Technically? I'm 30. I just live in a 16 year old body."

"Thank you," Elliot said.

She looked Jamie up and down. "Why on earth would you go to high school if that was true?"

"I'm a complicated man," Jamie replied as he downed his drink. "Actually? Whatever happened to me messed up my memories and the orignal version of me thought it would be a good idea to send me here to re-learn stuff. Wow. This drink is strong"

"Original you is weird," Elliot decided, downing half her drink. "NO offense! But I'd kill any version of me that tried to make me go through all of high school again. Especially tenth grade."

"Well we... I. Um. Us? Well we didn't go to high school. We were home schooled until my... our parents died in a freak tornado accident," Jamie explained. "Then we... I just lived on the farm we owned until I had a mental breakdown and attacked New York City."

Jamie blinked.

"Whoa. This drink is strong."

Elliot was on her second colada by now. "Mmm-hmm," she agreed. "But oh my god, that is the saddest thing I have ever heard. Except the attacking New York part. That's just weird."

"You should try it sometime," Jamie suggested. "Beats spending time with your relatives."

"I might," Elliot giggled.

She turned to Jamie. "RAAAAAAR. I demand coffee and glittery stuff!" Then she thwacked him on the shoulder.

It may have been slightly harder than she intended.

And now there were two tipsy Jamies.

"Hey! What was that for?! Do we look like New York?"

Elliot considered that in the way of a doctor who has managed to get drunk on two pina coladas. "Not really, but if you painted yourself green? You would be an exact dead ringer for two statues of liberty."

"Naaaah. I don't have the hair for it," the Jamies said in slurred unison and then ordered a drink. "Plus we blew that up last week."

Elliot blinked. A lot. "So what are you, a terrorist or something? You're lying again."

Re: The Bar

[identity profile] multi-madrox.livejournal.com 2006-12-30 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
"Nuh-uh!" Jamies disagreed "We were heroes! We rescued and stoped the bad guys!"

Re: The Bar

[identity profile] blonde-doctor.livejournal.com 2006-12-30 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
"Bad guys?" Elliot asked.

But she was distracted. Lowering her voice, she added, "Do you know where the bathroom in here is? I don't want to ask the scary mask lady."

"Bathroom!" the Jamies cry out! "Come with me! I know the perfect place!"

Jamie grabbed Elliot by the arm and escorted her to the best bathroom in fandom. (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/1310069.html?thread=58955381#t58955381)
