Park, Wednesday Night

Kabuto was running through a kata-style workout. He couldn't work on any sort of target practice, considering his kunai had been confiscated, but he could at least keep his chakra control intact as well as keeping his body in shape. It was annoying to not have his weapons, but he could deal with it. He was, after all, a weapon all by himself.

But achieving that status, and holding onto it, required a lot of effort and practice. The park was the best place for it, since it was the most like home. He could try to work out in the gym, but it was too noisy.

Outside was better.

Demyx kept his hood up, just kind of wandering. He paused for a minute, watching the ninja work out, then continued on his way.

Kabuto didn't interrupt his practice, though he did keep track of the other boy out of the corner of his eye. Generally, figures in hooded black coats weren't a good sign.
