The park, pretty much all Monday
There is a boy skateboarding in the park. He isn't skateboarding from one point to another. This isn't for transportation. He isn't skateboarding in intensely focussed training. This isn't for a trophy. He is skateboarding for the sheer joy of it. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow. Sometimes bogged down in snow, sometimes zooming along paths. Sometimes sailing over benches or large metal lobsters, sometimes crouched low to the ground.
Jude had been a good boy and let his leg get its strength back after being freed from its cast, but he couldn't stay off his board for longer than he already had. Video games could only do so much. True healing could only be attained through a truly righteous grind.

eerily timely in beingout of order. She was really looking forward to abusing her employee privledges some more! She went to the park to sulk, distracted herself by watching some guy (wasn't he in her writing class?) skateboard around like a dork. Okay, maybe not so much like a dork, because he was actually pretty good. For a dorky skateboarder.no subject
That . . . didn't end well. If one's definition of 'well' included the exact opposite of sprawled on one's face with a mouth full of feathers.
"Hawsh . . ."

Wade had come to the park to do park things. Which, for him, meant throwing pointy things at the ducks. It was soothing. He ambled up behind the puff ball, peeking over his shoulder at what he was writing.

(So very pink. Like cotton candy.)

(Aww, he's like a terrified puppy.)
"You okay, little pink cotton candy haired one?"

He'd understood the first part of the sentence, as well as 'pink one'. "I am fine." He grinned and laughed nervously. This guy kinda reminded him of the assasins in videogames or comics.

"You sure? I don't normally cause people to freak out like that when I'm unarmed. Unless you count that one time in Tijuana when I lost my pants."

"My...pants....?" He looked a little freaked out and pointed down at his jeans.

(Hot nuns and roommates are a bad, bad combination.)

"Who are you?" He asks next, not noticing an inquizzitive tone in Mr. Red's comment. In the meantime he brushes off the notebook, a little scuffed from the fall.
