Turtle hung up the phone and let out an excited shout. "We got it! The new register is on the way!"

There was dancing to be had. Until a twirl sent Turtle's braid into Apu's face and she kicked him for touching it, but not even the pain could ruin his joy. Turtle kissed the receipt pad. "I'm sorry it had to end this way," she told it. "It's not you, it's me. I just...it's time we moved on."

To celebrate, Squishies were 75% off.

Of course, the Squishy machine was still broken. Crushed ice with Squishy flavoring was still full price. Sorry.

Today's full-price crushed-ice flavors: Pina Colada, Red, Perogi.

Speaking of SquishyBot. Is there anything special you can think of it should be able to do?

Here's what we got so far...

Sprout arms to keep itself shiny and lift heavy containers of flavoring to refill itself. Mix flavors per customer specifications. Have big googly eyes that track people as they walk by and stare at them while their trying to decide what flavor to get. Hose down anybody trying to attack it with Squishy...

Love the staring googly eyes. Can it sometimes play annoying music that will drive Turtle insane, maybe? When it's been idle or unused too long. Because she clearly needs to be pushing more mechandise on her customers.
