The Perk, Thursday, noonish

Buffy was early. Not because she was sad or desperate or anything, but she hadn't been on a date in ages and this was a big thing. So she was early. She's dressed up in a nice pale blue blouse and black pants, and was wearing the necklace Jaye'd given her. Her purse, however, contained her gifts from Mel.

She sat down without ordering anything, and kept a close eye on the door.

Buffy brightened and tried to look like she totally hadn't staring at the door, waiting. "Hey, Seely." She motioned to the chair opposite from her. "Sit down and stuff."

"Thanks." Buffy reached out for her mocha. "So thanks again for running cheerleading yesterday. My place is definitely in the watching group at the moment." She made a wry face.

"I don't even have one," Buffy agreed. "Not that I'd crack a whip anyway! If I had one. Which I don't. Um." She sipped her coffee to make herself stop talking.
