Ah Friday.
Beautiful Friday.
Wonderful Friday.
Friday which, Lumiere had decided, was going to be the designated cheesecake day from now until the end of time or whenever the enchantment was lifted, whichever came first. The dishes didn't much seem to mind. They rather liked cheesecake.
Almost as much as the cook from the kitchen who kept running away with the saucer did. Neither of them had shown up for work today.
Lumiere looked mildly perturbed.

The specials sign today read:

Cheesecake Friday!
Buy a meal, get free cheesecake!
Cheesecake flavours today: Chocolate, Raspberry, Grey Stuff

Apparently, Grey Stuff was delicious in everything.

He's pacing back and forth, wondering where a few members of his staff have gotten off to. A napkin is hot on his heels, swatting out the fires that he's been accidentally setting to the countertops all day.
But he is very approachable, honest.
