The Devil's Nest, Tuesday Night

With his thin notebook sitting out, Shuichi hummed the new lyrics he'd come up with, trying to fit the words to a new tune and see if they'd fit together. So far, so good.

//"Transparency dyes the night sky, and, I walk alone on the road that always leads home... Hmmm hmm~"// Shuichi's head wobbles back and forth to the beat, his pink hair flipping this and that way as he wipes down the bar in preparation for the night.

There is a singing bar tender here tonight. Free performance from the ~~so pro~~ little pink one~

Yuki sits down at the bar, he's actually brought his laptop too. HE starts to type and hopes Shuichi knows what he wants.

Shuichi continues his singing, bringing Yuki a scotch as usual. //"..tangled up in the feelings to convey to those days that have been left behind..."//

Yuki's thanks was his looking up and nodding at the little guy. He doesn't notice that when he looks up he types the very words Shuichi's singing. He looks back down and deletes the line quickly.

He twirls a few more times before settling down near Yuki's laptop. //"What'cha writing about~"// He says in a sing-song manner, leaning his head against his hands all dreamy-like.

//You.// This is obviously sarcastic.

//"EEEE! Yuukii!"// He goes all gooey eyed and day-dreamy at that, whether or not it was sarcastic doesn't stop him from elaborating on it in his head.

//Of course I'm not writing about you freak!//

//"Awww, Yuki why do you have to crush my dreams?!"// He flops over on the bar, arms sprawled in an overly dramatic way.

//Because I have to do something to you when you look that happy.//

//"You can't stop me from being happy!"// He stands up straight, putting on a really goofy smile and giving him a 'V' sign. //"See?! I will prevail! Ahahahahaha!"//

Yuki grunts and looks back down at his typing.

//Reiko turned from her cheating husband with an intense look in her eyes, "You can ruin our marriage, but you can't stop me from being happy!"//

Yuki frowns at his typing. Damn pink puff.

//"How many books have you written already? What number are you workin' on now?"// He tries not to pester him tooo much, this step one in his 'getting to know Yuki!' plan.

//This is my 29th book.// He's pestering him a LOT.

//"WOW! That's an awful lot of books in such a short amount of time!! That's so amazing..."// Shuichi goes stary eyed again. Yuki was soo awesome...

Yuki holds his head in his hands. This book is never going to get done. Deadlines really did a number on him... He wished he wasn't really a writer. //Look could you leave me alone? I'm busy.//

His starry eyes go gooey with regret, //"Ah! I'm sorry Yukii! You have that deadline! That must be really stressful! I'll leave you alone!!"// He flails a little, turning to try to wash some dirty glasses in the sink.

However, he can't help but continually glance back at him ashe washes.

Yuki looks to be typing furiously but he looks really stressed out and frusterated too.

Shuichi continues to glance back, squirming a little on the pressure to not speak. So. Once he's finished with the glasses, he finds one of the little white umbrellas and a pen. In very careful, tiny, Japanese script he writes 'Good Luck!' and 'You can do it!' across the umbrella's surface. Goofy crooked smiley faces accompany the still-messy scrawl and he carefully slips the umbrella into Yuki's scotch, biting his lip against saying anything more.

AH! It was soo DIFFICULT.

Yuki doesn't seem to notice it until after half the glass is gone. And at that point, the little umbrella bumps into his lip. He lookss down and sees the little umbrella. He manages to keep any expression off his face. He lays down some cash on the bar top and stands. He shuts his laptop and leaves without saying goodbye.

However Shuichi MIGHT notice that he also took the umbrella...

It was probably a good thing Emma didn't speak of word of Japanese. She sat down by the bar. "Cosmopolitan, please."

"Will do~" Shuichi trills, flipping his drink book open to the name and getting to work on the drink. He's very careful to make it exactly right, it being his first time making these thus far.

"Remember the white umbrella," Emma said to the boy. The little white umbrella was important.

Whiteumbrellawhiteumbrellawhiteumbrella.. Shuichi repeated to himself in his head, finishing up the drink and sticking a cute little white umbrella in.

"Here you go~" He places it carefully in front of her with a big grin.

Emma gave him a pleased look. "Thank you." She pushed the drink closer. "Have you been working here long?"

"Just a few weeks!" He leans against the bar, his pink hair bouncing a little with his chipperness.

Deadpool lifted his disgusting combination of soda and champagne to Emma in a greeting.

"Emma! How are the wife and kids?"

Like Wade could let his most favorite-est roomie serve booze without trying to get some from him for free.

"Gimme a bottle of champagne and some Tab cola."

Shuichi bounces at Deadpool's arrival, pink hair floofing out. //"Right-O!"// He picks out what was asked of him and places it in front of Deadpool. //"You can drink a whole bottle by yourself?"// He puts a glass down too.

"Yup," Wade replied cheerfully. "I could drink a few of these before I got drunk."

//"Whoa! Hardcore! I'm a total lightweight."// He easily admits, impressed.

Wade popped the top on the champagne and poured some in the glass before adding some of the cola.

(Mmm, disgusting.)

"Some day little one, some day you to shall be a binge drinker."

He wasn't really sure what a 'binge drinker' was, but it didn't matter, because he was back to singing and putting little umbrellas in the open bottle.

Shuichi danced around the tables and chairs as he wiped them down.

//"Singing to myself, I want to send these kinds of feelings, to you in your sleep, oh, um... "//

Lucifer was staying far, far away from the singing bartender.

It's a rocking out kind of night ~~as usual~~, so Shuichi plays some Red Hot Chili Peppers to get in the mood.

Ahhh. If only more people liked international music... I'd flood this post with Gravitation song links. ~~And maybe some Kyo and E Nomine, so the French and Germans don't feel left out.~~
