Lumiere? Still fighting a losing battle with the phone book, unfortunately. The tinfoil on his handcandles really isn't helping the situation, either. At least his sneezing has deteriorated into the odd cough here and there, anyhow.
The serving staff hasn't offered to help him, even though they are all possessive of opposable thumbs.
Actually, they've started exchanging bets through the doorway with the kitchen staff as to how long it will take for Lumiere to get to the page that actually has someone on it who can repair the ceiling. The kindest bet so far has him struggling with the thing for another week.

Today's specials board reads:

Jambalaya, Crawfish Pie, Fillet Gumbo

Son of a gun, the staff had some fun with the menu while Lumiere was preoccupied with the phone book. Looks like today is Bayou day at Café Fina.

It would seem that the serving staff today, the forks, have slipped into something as comfortable as a bunch of forks can muster while Lumiere is distracted. So don't be too alarmed that your waiter is a fork in coveralls, alright?

Please, please tell me that it's the insomnia that has inspired me to start using old country songs as a basis for my daily specials? Please?

... Then again, if someone out there can tell me the song that the three items on the specials board were taken from and who sings it, I'll make you a fairy icon. Because I'm a geek like that.
