The Devils Nest, Tuesday Night

Shuichi's shift was full of worry today. Tomorrow was valentines day. He really wanted to give Yuki something. Yes, he wasnt' a girl. And yes, they weren't going out... but he still wanted to do something!! Chocolate was his first idea, but then he kept thinking about how much Yuki liked scotch... but he had a lot of that! What would just another bottle mean to him?! NOTHING, THAT'S WHAT.

//"I could make him chocolate! But he would know...we live in the same house! And what if I burn it!! It would make the whole place smell!! I've never even made chocolate before! What if they kick me out of the house because it smells soo bad?!"//

Shuichi's just talking to himself again, nothing new.

"Shuichi!" Rosette dropped happily onto a stool at the bar. "I ran outta the scotch you gave me, so I'm here to get more!"

Shuichi quit his self-ranting to turn to the nun, "Another bottle?" Which worried him if that's what she meant, because he couldn't exactly just give her a bottle from here...it was much easier to steal one from Yuki's collection.

Cradling her chin as she leaned her elbows on the bar, feet kicking idly, Rosette chuckled. "Naw, not today. I'm actually in the mood for vodka, so just that today. On the rocks, please."

He gave her an appreciative thumbs up before going to grab the bottle of vodka, pouring it over ice and setting it down in front of her with a satisfying clink. "Do you think more pink would look strange around here?"

"Shuichi, sweetie," Rosette smirked as she leaned back a little, sipping her drink, "with you around, there's more than enough pink, believe me." Another sip. "Got any plans for Valentine's Day?"

Aw... he thought the lounge could use a little sprucing up though. Some color never hurt anything..
"Not really.." He shook his head a little sadly. That's exactly what he'd been freting over. "You?"

"Yup!" Rosette announced proudly. "I've got a date!"

"Really?! What are you doing?" He perks up a little. Although his own love life was rather complicated...he could at least be happy for someone else's. And he couldn't really ask who, because, there were very few people that he knew here still...

"Dinner!" Rosette proclaimed with excitement and then realized that she didn't know much else beyond that. Huh.

Shuichi sighed all dreamy. What if he and Yuki went on a dinner date?! EEEEEeee! That would be sooo awesome!!!
"Sooo awesome.." He sighed, mostly in response to his own weird fantasies.

Rosette chuckled a little at Shuichi's enthusiasm. My, wasn't he just a hyper little romantic, or what? "Well, I won't know for sure until afterwards, but I'm pretty certain I'll at least be getting a good meal out of it. Cafe Fina has some great hot dogs."

"Hot dogs?" Those weird things in those bread buns? That didn't sound like much of a romantic dinner..."I've never been on a really fancy date, so I guess I shouldn't question." He grins. Hot dogs could totally be romantic, if you thought about it! Not too much thinking, though.

"Oh, they're very fancy hot dogs, trust me," Rosette nodded with conviction. "But you've never been on a fancy date before? Really? Even I got to go to a homecoming dance last year, and I'm a nun."

He shrugs, "They're expensive.." He pouts a little with that. He'd been a poor high school student then, spending all his money on the band. They'd never gotten much money for their gigs... so it left little over.

Rosette considered the pout a little before striking the counter with an idea. "I got it! You," she said, "should let me take you out on a fancy date!"

"I should?!" He blinked a little taken back by the sudden smacking of the counter.

"Yes," Rosette giggled a little at the reaction, "you should. C'mon! It'll be fun. And then? You won't have to worry about not ever having gone on one before."

"Uhh... sure." He nods. He could totally get back at Yuki for going out with that blond skank a while ago!!! Not that...there was any reason he should need to 'get back at him,' but at least it made him feel better about it, "Yeah, alright! I'll go!" He answers with his own smack down on the counter.

Which only encouraged Rosette to smack the counter again herself as she laughed (the poor counter!). "Hooray! Sometime next week, then, maybe? I'm afraid the rest of this week is pretty booked for me."

Rosette bounced a little as she realized this would be her third date in a week! That was kind of exciting!

"Next week is awesome!" And her's only makes him want to smack the counter again in excitement. And he probably smacked it a little too hard this time too, because he could definatly feel that last one..

Okay, that was probably enough counter abuse for one night, especially since Rosette was giggling too hard to hit it again. Shuichi was a lot of fun, and so this date, even if it was going to be fancy, would be just as fun, she imagined.

"What day works best for you, then?" she asked as soon as she could get through the giggles. "You're the one with the night job."

"Hmm..." He tapped his chin with the non-throbbing hand. Not Sunday, and not Tuesday.... Yuki had class on Wednesdays and was usually stressed after.. Monday's always sucked, no matter what, it was a given fact... "Thursday! How about Thursday?"

"Next Thursday it is, then!"

He really wants to put pink heart doilys out, but he doesn't really think that matches the atmosphere of the place at all.

Shuichi had found a big band CD and was bobbing frantically around to "In The Mood". It seemed to fit in it's own way.

Oh man....SNOW. We're in a level two warning...thing? And NO ONE except help and medical vehicals can drive on the roads.

Anyone know any good movies to get? I have soo many and I'm lookin for some new.

It's cold like whoa. In America.

I empathize about the weather. We are having ~~omg!scary!~~ thunderstorms and it's raining so hard can't see past our front porch. And now they have just issued a tornado warning. Woe.

Oh man. I heard there was a tornado watch in Florida.

That, in my opinion, is scarier than snow. Although, we could get snowed in and never escape. Which would be unfortunate.

I'm in South Carolina and the thunder is literally rocking me in my chair. The tornado is about twenty minutes from us.

I don't remember what snow even looks like. It was 65F today for the high.

Mentor group meeting today! Weeeee!!!

And there are those who seem to ignore the level two warning thing. I noticed quite a few cars on my way to practice today.

Yeah, dorks.

And I'm not going to the meeting :< I had UD to vote for~ SPLIT YOURSELF AND GO FOR ME, KTHX. 8D

Have you already decided who in your dorm will get eaten in case your food supply runs out?

I have a pretty good idea, actually...
