Rose zoomed into the Diner then stopped before the dorkily dancing boy and demanded, "I want FOOOOD!"

Jarod followed his nose to the good smells in the diner. He hadn't finished his cereal because Aiden was a stupid girl, and he was hungry.

He climbed up onto one of the stools and studied Jude. "Whatcha doin'?"

Whoa. Totally more little dudes in town today than Jude is used to. "I'm workin', little man," he replied, hastily covering all evidence of moonwalking.

Rosette had finally managed to ditch Chrono somewhere around Minotaur lane. She had really been looking forward to playing with Chrono and his long hair, and then he had to go all big adult on her and wouldn't play with her. So she ditch him, until she could find Yuki or Deadpool or John or Shuichi or maybe that pretty girl from last night or Jane or the Doctor or anyone to play with. But she was getting hungry. She wanted a hot dog.

Thankfully, she was right by Luke's. So she came in, clammered onto a stool (all the statue climbing earlier had helped) and situated herself.

And then promptly started banging her fists on the counter and chanting, "Ich habe HUNGAR, HUNGAR, HUNGAR, HUNGAR, HUNGAR, HUNGAR!!!" She'd learned it from the German kids at the orphanage. It so totally always worked, too.

"HUNGAR, HUNGAR, HUNGAR!"

Mac wandered in, Jay still balanced on one hip and Bob clinging at her leg.

There are people! Big people! Looks like she's scored bringing them here.

"Jude!" she said, grinning hopefully. "Heeey."

"Hey, Mac," Jude greeted her remarkably cheerfully for keeping several small children from hurting themselves on his shift. "Babysitting?"

Parker had woken up to Zoe's announcements. Having a bad feeling about that, she decided to avoid the dorm and head into town.

She noticed the two kids talking to Jude, but didn't pay attention them, taking a booth and getting out a menu without really getting a good look at them.

After talking to Jude and Rose, Jarod spun around on his stool and stopped when he recognized someone else. He walked over and stood at the end of the table. Sydney had taught him to be polite, and this was one of the good grown-ups.

"Hi, Mrs. Parker."
