Lana opened the store and took a little time to make sure everything was straightened up. She'd been a little scattered last week and didn't fell that she'd quite taken the time she should have on the store. Then she sat down behind the counter and settled in to get some studying done until any customers showed up.

Clark's experiences over the weekend had left him feeling nostalgic, and with a craving for kids literature. Specifically Shel Silverstein. "Hello." he greeted Lana, not wishing to disturb her studying.

Lana glanced up and couldn't help the smile that spread across her face. "My Superhero!" she said. "How are you doing today?"

Clark chuckled. "I found this weekend quite cathartic." he smiled. He wondered how seriously she took that superhero stuff he'd talked about, but remained confident that one day she'd find out for sure about her own Clark anyway.

"So I'm doing rather well. And you appear to be wonderful with children."

Lana blushed. "Well, I do like kids and they usually seem to take to me. And you were particularly sweet with your cape."

Clark laughed again. "I believe there's several pictures in the hotel taken by the staff." he said. "Which reminds me I have to try to get copies and send them to Ma." Something occured to him. "Do you anyone else took pictures or video of this weekend?"

"I'm not sure," Lana said, "But I know Zero often tries to get all this stuff documented on video and Parker's pretty quick with a camera. You might check with them."

"I'll do that. I know Ma would be very amused to see them." He chuckled. "I think Saigo was a bit embarresed though, he's hiding in the bathroom and won't come out."

"He was sooo cute," Lana said. "Such a sweet little duckling."

"He really was." Clark agreed. "There's pictures of him as well which I've had to hide so he doesn't destroy them."

Lana laughed. "I'd love one of those myself!"

"I'll see about getting one for you." he promised.

"Thanks," she said with a smile.

"In the meantime, I was looking for some Shel Silverstein books."

"Of course," Lana said and pointed them out for him.

"Thanks." he said. "This weekend left me with a craving for whimsy."

Lana smiled. "I can imagine."
