The park, Monday noonish
After class, Jude had two choices. Go back to the dorms and sleep. Go back to the dorms and find Rikku, because he hadn't talked to her since Friday and was pretty sure that was a bad thing. So he chose option C, which was skateboarding in the park until he made up his mind and thus didn't consider it an actual choice.

So she dropped by his room in the most casual way possible, but he wasn't there. Class? Maybe. Or maybe ... he liked to skateboard, right?
Rikku was totally just going for a walk, and maybe wandering through the park some. Not stalking him or anything. Unless that was okay?
She was so bad at this.

Unfortunately, he noticed Rikku in the middle of this experiment.
Hitting the ground face-first at her feet could be considered falling for her, right?

She dropped to her knees next to him and tried to help him up. "Are you hurt? I didn't mean to scare you, I should have yelled or something, I mean, I hope I didn't - I mean - I'm sorry!"
She was so very bad at this.

She reached down to adjust his hat-thing, and ended up playing with the brim of it.
"So, uh. How've you been?"

the mun is pretty sure. Mine is, I mean."no subject
Okay, she was bad at lying, too. "I didn't want to be all weird."

She laughed. "Stupid, right?"

She played with his hair. "Told you I'm not good at this. Hey, I'm here now, right?"

"What were you trying to do when I got in your way?"

Well, now in a general, later kind of way. Because right now, she was tracing her fingers over his chin and going in for the kiss.
no subject
His toque slipped off again as he kissed her lightly, smiling a little at the upsidedown nature of it. His hand brushed along her arm for any kind of little contact.

She attempted to put it back onto his head, but the angle was a bit ... off. Which made her giggle.

To prove her point, she scrunched her face up and stuck her tongue out. "Thee?"

She then burst out laughing. "Man, I bet we look hot."

She leaned over until she was almost bumping his nose with hers. "Hey, are you my boyfriend?"
no subject
"Do you want me to be?" he asked hopefully.
no subject
"I guess I just wanted to know, like, what's going on. Not that it's gotta be anything. I just asked."
She realized she hadn't answered the question, and tacked on a blush and a "and, uh, yeah, you know."

"We should probably move, you know. I can't believe nobody's tripped over us." Not that she didn't like him hanging out on her lap, though.

She remembered the scrap of paper in her pocket. "Ooh! I have something to ask you, too. Nothing to do with this, though."
no subject

"Hey, do you know what this is?" She unfolded the paper from her pocket and held it out to him.
no subject
He took the piece of paper but barely glanced at it before he said. "That's the Prince thing."
no subject
She squinted at the paper, and then him. "What prince?"
no subject
"Like, the Artist Formerly Known as Prince? He was Prince and then he changed his name to that," pointing at the symbol, "and then back to Prince. He's like this music dude from the eighties."
no subject
She blinked at him. "He's ... okay, see, this was during a sports-thing? It wasn't blitzball, just a bunch of people running around on a field. Seemed kinda boring. And then in the middle they stopped and this short dude wearing a lot of purple was singing and there were lasers and stuff, and he was standing on a symbol, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere."
She scratched her head. "He ... so, that was him?"
no subject
no subject
She laughed. "None at all? Man. What am I supposed to grill your friends about, then!?"
no subject
"Uh, I dunno? 'Cause if you want all the ex-girlfriend dirt, you can totally get that here."
no subject
She took his hand and twined her fingers through his. "Hey, I thought you were dirt-free! Is any of the ex-girlfriend stuff good?" She wasn't sure if she wanted an answer to that one.
"Man, I wonder if I have any good dirt?"
no subject
"Okay, so it's not really dirt dirt, in the bad dirt kinda way . . . ask me anything, really."
no subject
She scratched her head, suddenly realizing she wasn't sure she wanted to know, exactly. "You're not, like, hung up on any of them, are you?"
"I don't have any exes to dish on. There was one guy I really liked, but ..." She got quiet. "You know."
no subject
He squeezed her hand again, telling her that he did know.
