Devil's Nest, Monday
Schrodinger?
Had already sent all of his footage back to Millennium.
If he were the type to laugh maniacally? He totally would right now.
But his voice tends to crack when he's laughing like that.

Bar
The Time Warp cocktail has returned.
Lounge
Re: Lounge
Re: Lounge
Aziraphale and Wilson were two beings in serious need of a drink. It had been a bit of a whirlwind day with class and the like but afterwards they had headed home and spent a good part of the evening being awkward around one another.
Not an uncomfortable sort of awkward since they both understood what was at the source of the awkward but at the same time...it was a bit strange to look at your lover and be all 'awwcutelittleweeperson'.
...
No, just...no!
So, eventually they'd decided a drink was in order and in an effort to keep a low profile -yes they might have been ducking students they'd been hugging with grubby intent- the pair
slunkheaded down to the Nest.Aziraphale, upon realizing that he owed Mazikeen BIG, bolted for the lounge leaving Wilson to head up to the bar where he ordered a bottle of scotch and two glasses. Then headed off into the
dark shadowslounge.Strangely enough, the rather sheepish pair found their way to Lucifer and after a moment of standing there looking a bit foolish, Wilson offered up a weak.
"Cute wings?"
Re: Lounge
At least, he hoped that was the case.
And yes, he was furiously avoiding even looking in Mazikeen's direction.
Re: Lounge
"Thank you," He replied, voice betraying the slightest bit of a strain for him to say it.
Re: Lounge
"Aziraphale and I are currently finding the idea of sex together to be rather disturbing, so we're here to drink. Mind if we join you?"
Re: Lounge
"We have scotch," he offered, despite that it was, of course, Lucifer's scotch. Still, they were offering to share.
Re: Lounge
"If there is any mention of water fowl and I will have to ask you to leave."
Re: Lounge
Taking one of the offered chairs, the young doctor settled himself down and poured out two very healthy scotches, one of which he pushed over towards Aziraphale.
"Um, well...let's see. Since this past weekend never happened...oh, I went to the Underworld last week."
Yeah, he was flailing a bit and it was either the Underworld or a discussion about the weather.
Re: Lounge
"You also gave me a very bad haircut," he added. So much for not mentioning the past weekend. "Never let James near you scissors, Lucifer. He's a menace. Put holes in my favorite t-shirt, too."
Re: Lounge
"I'll have to keep that mind the next time I need a hair cut," He said, giving Aziraphale a dry look. It was as close to a joke as he was willing to get after the weekend that will never be spoken of.
He topped off his own glass of vodka and turned toward Wilson. "Oh? A different one from mine I assume."
Re: Lounge
"I got my memories back, of when I was attacked. A group went down to confront the...the Source." Wilson responded to Lucifer with a bit more seriousness and he took a long swig off his own scotch.
"Well, does yours have a lot of sulfuric rock?"
Re: Lounge
What? Aziraphale really like that blanket.
"It turns out I was completely wrong about my assumptions over who attacked James, unfortunately," he added, for Lucifer's benefit. There wasn't much point in trying hide the fact of their conversations from the young doctor now. Wilson might as well know what Aziraphale had been planning.
Re: Lounge
"Among other things, yes," He told Wilson. It was best not to go into detail as to what other things filled the vast space of his former kingdom. Had a nasty tendency of frightening humans when they learned of what tortures waited for them.
He nodded in understanding at the angel. If Wilson wanted to know any details he would have to ask.
Re: Lounge
He flicked a glance towards Aziraphale and an eyebrow arched curiously. On one hand, he wasn't entirely surprised to learn that Phale had spoken to Lucifer, it actually made a queer sort of sense but that sort of let the door open to what exactly had they spoken about.
"Did I miss something?"
Re: Lounge
gulpsip of scotch, because he was going to need it once Wilson heard what he'd been proposing, Aziraphale returned Lucifer's nod, then turned to the young doctor."I thought it was the balrog," he said. "I...wanted it to be the balrog. Lucifer and I...were talking about going after him."
The angel flicked his gaze toward Luficer again, with a sort of 'please don't leave me alone with him until I know he's not going to kill' me look.
Re: Lounge
He sat back and drank his vodka, eagerly waiting for the show to start.
Re: Lounge
Re: Lounge
Really, that had sounded like a perfectly good reason when he'd proposed the plan to Lucifer. In fact, it still sounded like a perfectly good reason. Although obviously, Wilson wasn't so much sharing that opinion.
Good thing Aziraphale had already planned to be sleeping on the couch tonight.
"Er...you know, I think I'll just...go get a refill on the scotch," the angel said quickly, with an apologetic smile for Lucifer. And a look that suggested the Adversary was probably much safer than he was at the moment.
Then he fled to the relative safety of the bar.
The opposite end from where Mazikeen might be, of course.
[ooc: I must sleep, but Wilson!mun has total modding permission.]
Re: Lounge
And Wilson was still there.
He smiled charmingly at the doctor, toasting him with his glass of vodka.
Re: Lounge
ran for his lifeheaded for the bar to get his refill, Wilson's eyes swung back towards the Advesary.Sitting forward, slowly, Wilson pushed a bit into the Advesary's space, eyes direct on Lucifer's face.
"You actually thought that was a good idea for him?" He asked with deceptive softness.
Re: Lounge
Re: Lounge
"I'd prefere he not go at all, especially when it's based upon a decision made from emotions. Angels aren't supposed to make emotional decisions."
Re: Lounge
"If we weren't meant to make emotional decisions, " Lucifer told him. "We would not have emotions."
"And we would not fall," He added after a small pause.
Re: Lounge
Looking down at his hands, Wilson rubbed them together brushing his fingers across the ring on his left.
"Perhaps I mean, I don't want him making emotional decisions driven off the relationships he's made here in the world... I don't know."
Wilson shook his head and ran his hand through his hair.
"If, he has to take on that...damn enemy of his, he shouldn't be doing it in the middle of an emotional rage. He'll need to be as coldly logical as that Balrog is passionately enraged."
Re: Lounge
He sighed, suddenly wishing for a conversation about small overly friendly children instead of this.
"As for the cold logic, that would be one of the reasons I agreed to help him."
Re: Lounge
"Is that how you see yourself?"
Re: Lounge
Re: Lounge
"In some circumstances." He agreed quietly.
Re: Lounge
"He would not have come to harm," He told Wilson after a long pause.
Re: Lounge
That and he enjoyed Lucifer's playful side, even if he was playing mouse to the Ruler of Hell's cat.
"I know." He said simply, though there was a hell of a lot of that trust and faith put in to those two words.
"Which is why...I won't try to stop him, if even with this new information, he still wants to finish things with the balrog."
That was, so long as Lucifer, still went along.
Re: Lounge
He nodded once in assent. "It is his decision, but I believe he would like to have your approval."
Re: Lounge
Then he gave Lucifer a little half smile.
"But, I have to give him a little bit of of a scold, least he believe I don't care."
Annoying little mortal, it's possible he also meant that to cover the slight fuss he'd given Lucifer tonight as well.
Re: Lounge
He went for a new topic, now in a much better mood. "Are weekends like that normal around here?"
Re: Lounge
Re: Lounge
Re: Lounge
"Err...well, I guess it's happened twice now. I heard it befell the students last time, though I wasn't here for that event."
Chuckling softly, Wilson sipped at his scotch.
"Fandom has a strange way of delivering what it seems to think you need, from time to time. Embaressing as this past weekend might have been, it might not entirely have been a bad thing."
Re: Lounge
Lucier raised an eyebrow at that.
"I was a cherub," He said dryly.
Re: Lounge
Then after a thoughtful pause he offered up.
"I got to pet your wings?"
Re: Lounge
"That was the least bothersome part of the weekend."
The hugging. Why did there have to be hugging?
Re: Lounge
"It was very kin..." Wilson caught himself and choked off the last of that particular bit of phrasing and said instead. "You made a very nice duck," he offered with a rueful grin of his own.
"I'm afraid I always did get cranky, as a child, when it was close to nap or sleep time."
Re: Lounge
"I'm afraid I can't say the same," Lucifer replied. "That would be my first experience as a child."
Re: Lounge
"I think...he found it rather fascinating actually." The young doctor had caught the angel's far away, pensive looks throughout the day and it wasn't hard to connect the dots.
"Maybe you two could talk about it...if you wanted to." Wilson suggested with a warm smile, then he tossed back the rest of his scotch and moved to stand up.
"You should come by the house sometime. You're always welcome." He offered, picking up the glass and the bottle to carry back to the bar.
As he moved passed the Advesary, Wilson reached touch and gently touched Lucifer's shoulder.
"Goodnight."
Re: Lounge
"Goodnight."
