The Devil's Nest, Friday Night

It was Friday night and that meant half priced drinks for all teachers.

Tonight's special? The best Bloody Mary in town.

Of course, the smirk on Mazikeen's face might mean it's made with real blood.

The Tick walked up to the bar. He needed a drink after the past couple days. He had finally gotten the finger trap off his fingers. It was now stuck on his antennae, though.

"I'll have a hot chocolate."

"It's okay! I just have to reenergize and touch my antennae together and they should free themselves!" Tick said.

The Tick's antennae moved apart, stretching the finger trap. The Tick himself didn't seem to notice the struggle. "So, how's your evening going?" he asked.

The antennae gave one final, mighty tug and with a loud "POP!" the finger trap flew off and across the room.

"Egads! I suppose it'll be a victory hot chocolate then!"

"Thank you, chum!" The Tick said. After taking a sip, he smiled. "This hot chocolate is very worthy as a drink of celebration!"

Ellen walked into The Devil's Nest, managing not to be completely tourist-y as she looked around, but doing so curiously all the same. She approached the bar and smiled at Mazikeen, nodding. "Evening."

It actually took her a moment, not really sure where her mood was tonight. "Gin and tonic," she said finally. "Sorry, should know better than to make you wait."
