The Devils Nest, Tuesday Night

Shuichi skittered in to his shift drenched in rain. Somehow the dark clouds outside and the pitter patter of rain against the window's of his room hadn't given him the "umbrella signal." After a good squeezing of his clothes and pink flop of hair, he set about his usual ritualed duties of wiping down the counter and washing any used glasses.

Other than the rain, today had been a fairly awe-inspiring day, and he'd gotten quite a bit done with his music. He'd even recorded a few of the things he'd been writing over the past few weeks! HURRAH!

Well it certianly was wet outside. Arashi shook his head out as he entered the bar like a dog, which made his normally poofy hair poof even more; damn humidity.

He settled at the bar and nodded to the pink haired boy. "Hi, can I get some sake please?"

"Totally! Heated..or not?" He bopped around looking for the sake and the wee tiny cups it accompanied.

[[eep! sorry for late response! It will be a bit for the next, I have to practice violin outta my building...but after that im here]]

"Cold please," he smiled and leaned against the bar. The pink hair rang a bell, but he couldn't quite put a finger on it.

"Sure thing!" He beamed and got a little bottle out, opening it and setting the cup down to pour the first one before leaving the little bottle out for him. He did it all with delicate precision, how stupid would it look to accidentally drop or spill some of the drink that came from his own home?! Really...stupid.

[[aahhh sims. a good addiction. 8D]]

"Thank you," Arashi smiled and nodded, noting how careful he was with the sake. "You're quite precise with that."

"I have to be! What if I lost concentration and spilled it all over?! It'd be lame! And, well....I'd lose a lot of good sake...but, besides that! The cups are so small! What if I lost my job over a spilled cup of sake?! It'd be such a waste! A doll could use those as cups! If I'm gonna lose my job over a spilt drink, it's going to be over something HUGE and expensive!" He stopped quite abruptly in the short rant he was spilling to his customer. Why the subject of losing his job over a spilt drink came up, he wasn't really sure... "I mean... yes? I am?"

Arashi could only blink at the man for a moment, before a slow and nervous smile spread on his face. "They are really tiny. the man who raised me used to have me pour for him when I was a kid and he was too drunk to no spill." He laughed easily. "And he was a ninja."

"A ninja? That's so cool!" Spilled sake aside, the first thing on Shuichi's mind was movies.

"You really think ninja are cool?" He grinned, not actually saying that he was one too, cause yanno saying it now would seem kinda lame, but it was still a big self-esteem booster thing.

"Totally! I mean...I don't know much more than what the movies say about them...but they totally beat out samurai for awesomeness."

"I think I could definitely agree with that!" He continued to grin. "Then again my whole home town could."

"Whole home town..?" He paused, "Are they all ninjas?!" He blinks, "Are you a ninja?!"

"Me? Yes," he smiled, though it was a bit softer this time. "I used to be the leader of the village. My name's Arashi, what's your's?"

"I'm Shuichi!" He beamed, eyes sparkly as he day dreamed a scene from one of his favorite movies. Sigh... Soo cool...

"... uh are you okay?" He definately wasn't used to the idolization like that.

Blink, "Totally! Super!" He laughed a little as he shook the day dream off and settled himself down about the whole ninja thing.

Ready for use, and cotton-candy head free.

Today's music was a bit more modern than he'd been playing lately. Some techno-y bands jammed through the speakers as Shuichi rocked out behind the bar.
