Sparky Repairs, Saturday

John manages to make it to Sparky's on a raft.

This simply would not do. So he decided to do something about it, while Agatha was sleeping off her building bender.

So this is John, trying to build a mechanical boat using Agatha's clockwork machinery, John's engineering wizardry, and possibly a bathtub.

[Sparky's open! Agatha shamelessly modded without permission (cuz her mun's, like, a billion miles from home and not FHing, woe)]

Chrono was definately sulking. But he was putting up with it because he was hungry, too.

"Ahoy!" Rosette was still really into the whole pirate nun thing. She was thinking she probably looked pretty dashing and hot in an eyepatch. A giggle escaped. "I find it interesting that the shop is so dry, and the church gets flooded. Perhaps a reflection on what this island thinks of organized religion?"

"The basement is almost entirely submerged," Rosette said with a sigh, thinking of all the stuff that was gonna get ruined. Maybe that's what it was. The Big Guy trying to tell her she was neglecting that how Vow of Poverty thing. But, really, that shouldn't be the vow He should worry about... "Either the tunnels are sealed up enough that they're safe, or that they're just as bad."

Rosette was going to have one hell of a dry cleaning bill when this was all over...

"Salt deposits to clean off of the crypts? Am I really that hungry, or do I really have no idea what you're talking about?"

"Ugh, that will be a pain in the rear to clean," Rosette sighed, and then nudged Chrono, who was standing beside her, looking as though if he wished he wasn't there enough, it might happen. Or at least there with John. "Least we won't get bored, right?"

"What are you talking about, Rosette? You'll probably make me do all the wo--"

"Let's get some food!"

"Anything'd be good," Rosette said. "I'm starving." She patted her stomach. "Oh! No meat, though. Freakin' Lent..."

Rosette snerked. "Melons, huh?" Perhaps more signs that John really did miss his breasts from the other day and was currently suffering from major boob envy? Not that Rosette could say she blamed him. Rather satisfied in her own endowments, she added, "That sounds like a nice, healthy meal."

"Y'know," Rosette said, lifting the hem of her habit a little to keep it out of the damp ground as they headed toward the shop, "I still gotta meet her..."

"Uh, you guys?" Chrono's voice came from where the boat had been dragged onto drier ground so they could get out. He was still in the washbucket, looking entirely too uncomfortable. "I think I'm stuck!"

Sure enough, he'd somehow managed to get himself positioned in a manner that had him wedged in there and unable to move.

"Y'know, Chrono," Rosette put her hands on her hips as she looked at htis very interesting predicament of Chrono's and clicked her tongue. "This woulda never have happened if you didn't eat all those cupcakes all the time."

"If I didn't...! I'm not the one who's been having trouble fitting into her habit as of la--"

"You little...!"

At that point, right when Chrono was about to take Chrono's hand, Rosette very unceremoniously tipped the thing over.

"He can stay in wet clothes!" Rosette huffed, turning away with her nose stuck up in the air as Chrono got out of the water she'd dumped him into and shook out his arms a little.

"I'm sure you've got something in the shop that can dry them when I'm utilizing the shower, Jo--"

"I claim it first!" Rosette chimed in. "You are staying in those wet clothes and think about how you shouldn't say things like that about a lady."

"That implies, Rosette, that there are ladies present. And since John and I have both went back to normal since Thursday..."

"Oh, shut up."

"Lead the way, John!" Rosette called out, possibly planning to steal all the hot water.

And that was Rosette grabbing the back of his jacket and pulling him back to gain on him a little. "What happened to ladies first?" she asked, chosing to ignore Chrono's comment about ladies even further.

Meanwhile, in the Shop...

He wasn't even entirely sure how it happened; it had all happened so suddenly. But Emo and Goth had turned on Chrono, and he now laid in the middle of the shop, held down by firmly fastened ropes that held him fast, as the little bots dances around him almost cerenomiously with little sticks. Sticks that went diving into jars of jelly and then went smearing cross his face, his arms, his legs. It was grape jelly. Chrono struggled against his confines. "R..Rosette! John! Where...where are you guys? Heeeelllllppppp!!"
