Theodoric of York day spa; Thursday after classes

Parker showed up early, and chatted with the receptionist, making arrangements for Isabel to get a massage with either Michelle or Sven, a body wrap, and a mudbath before anything else. Might as well get her nice and relaxed.

Then she grabbed a magazine and waited for everyone else to show up.

With magazines, huge ANTM-type photos of new hairstyles, and a receptionist to bug, as well as a good place to meet up with people.

Jack was intrigued. He'd heard about this place, and rumours about a guy named Sven which he was looking forward to investigating. While he waited for the others he traded flirtatious glances with the receptionist, who was starting to blush.

So far, the visit was off to a good start.

Xander was trying to decide between looking amused or vaguely horrified that he was here. Amused was winning by a landslide so far, though the pamphlets for the seaweed wraps gave him pause.

"They generally save the hot oil torture for the regular customers," Sam said as she came up behind Xander and saw the expression on his face. "And don't do anything with hot wax unless you check it with a non-Parker female first."

Gunnar and Zelda muttered to each other as they attempted to tame Zero's mane, but her snap of, "Touch it with scissors and you're dead Swedes," calmed them. "Now. Let's talk color."

Sam realized just how long it had been since she'd had a real haircut. "Ignoring the temptation I have to do something with the color," mostly to see how Jack would flip if she was a temporary redhead, "I need it cut and neatened and shortened, but not military short, please."

Jack groaned in enjoyment as he eased into the Jacuzzi, going almost boneless as he sunk down up to his chin in the bubbly warmth. "This is so good."

His only disappointment was the attendant's insistence that naked wasn't okay, but it was a pretty minor one.

After a massage with Sven (ahhh!) Parker settled into the heated pool and did a few laps before ending up at the jacuzzi, relaxed as a pulled taffy, and feeling sleepy.

Okay...

It looks like I'm going to be spending the day painting. It's not what I'd planned on doing today, but I've got a warm body to help me and it does need to get done. Which means I'll be AFK till about 7ish tonight.

Isabel's off spending quality time with Sven.
