Café Fina, Thursday
There was a word for Lumiere's reaction to the state in which he found Fina this morning.
That word was "WOWOKAYI'MGOINGTOKEEP'ZISWALTERKID."
Which was totally a single compound word, because upon laying eyes on the fantastic state his café was in, that's pretty much how it came out of his mouth. The place looked spectacular. A little more squishy and black and white than he remembered, but spectacular nevertheless.
And then he tripped on the penguin.
Which really explained the black and white of it all, at least.
Today's Specials Board reads:
Borscht, Chilled fillets of mackerel with cider, Ice Cream
The serving staff was having a heck of a time keeping the penguins from swimming in the borscht, which summarily resulted in wee black and purple birds instead. And anyone who ordered the mackerel today would be lucky if their plate made it to them with food still on it.
The cooks refused to prepare anything hot today. Something about not wanting to cook the little guys.
