Trooper Station - Saturday

There was a girl locked up and the Sheriff wasn't around, so the troopers were improvising just a little bit. They'd done this thing plenty of times by now, so it wasn't too bad and they managed not to forget to feed the prisoner something beside Wonka's chocolate.

Aeryn's given up on trying to force the door open. Today she's looking around for any other way out, and not really finding one. Ordinarily she wouldn't even think about escaping since yes, she did shoot a guy (even if it didn't frelling work) and this is the right punishment, but the guy needed to be shot and he was still out there. She doesn't even want to know what he's doing today.

So, looking for other methods of escape.

Scorpius was led to the prison cell by a couple troopers. It felt rather familiar to him.

"Hello, Aeryn!" he said with evil chipperness. "Did you sleep well?"

Aeryn would love- love- to reach through the bars and grab him and hit him until she can't anymore, but she's not getting that close. Instead she stays in the middle of her cell and says, "You've done your damage, you don't have to be here."

"What damage did I do?" Scorpius asked. "I saw an old acquaintance and greeted her. You responded by attacking me. With intent to kill, I might add."

"You put a chip in his brain," she reminds him. "I think I had full right to attack you."

"And he overcame it," Scorpius said. "He looks no worse for the wear, I might add."

"You don't need to see him," he says slowly. "You've had your fun, you can stop now."

"I stopped by Caritas for a drink last night. He happened to be there," Scorpius said. "Coincidences happen often here."

"Yes, I heard about that," she says. "What do you want?

"Would you believe me if I told you that tomorrow morning a transport pod will be here to retrieve both me and any prisoners I might want to bring with me?" Scorpius asked.

She completely recognizes the threat. "Capturing a relatively unknown species such as a human would require reporting to Peacekeeper High Command," she says. "And there's already an Aeryn Sun out there so bringing me in might raise a few questions."

"Peacekeeper High Command in my reality is fully aware of alternate realities. Fewer questions would be raised than you think. I imagine it might even prove cathartic to some to have an Aeryn Sun they could watch rot in prison," Scorpius said. "That would be even more tre for Crichton."

"I don't believe you," she tells him simply.

"That is, of course, your choice," Scorpius said. "But don't say that I didn't warn you when the transport lands tomorrow."

"You can't extradite me anywhere. My crime- hardly one- was committed here. I myself have done nothing wrong in your reality," she says, and hey, she did learn something from television. "And the troopers wouldn't let you take John when he's done nothing. That would be kidnapping."

"Have you ever known the Peacekeepers to let details get in their way?" Scorpius asked.

"You obviously don't know much about this town." Though she's not convinced there's not some truth to what he's saying.

"Well, we'll just have to see what happens tomorrow, I suppose," Scorpius said. "Until then, farewell, Aeryn."

Right now she's not against asking Anakin to go after this guy with a lightsaber. "Stay away from him," she says as her goodbye.

"I'll try, but coincidences do happen," Scorpius said as he left the cell area.
