Ballroom at The Arms Hotel - Monday Evening.

The ballroom is mostly empty except for the the members of the Dance Club, some tables and chairs scattered around, and a spread of punch and pie for your enjoyment.

"Hi everybody!" Pippi greeted passing out some light reading material. "This weekend I went to New York and learned some cool new dance moves! So I thought I should share those all with you! Now the workshop I took was for ladies only... But I don't see why the guys couldn't learn this too if they wanted, or you fellas could just hang out. Have some punch or something."

She rolled over a television with a dvd player on a cart.

"Now I can show you what I learned, but I also got this short instructional video from the gift shop. Everybody got punch? Okay! Enjoy!"

And she hit play.

River watched the video while absentmindedly chewing on a pie. She had a feeling those kinds of costumes wouldn't suit her, but she had an idea for a gimmick.

Tannim helped himself to punch and pie. His eyes widened at the video. He hoped he wouldn't be expected to dress like that.

Sokka took quite a bit of punch and pie... but wasn't eating much of it. He just watched the video with a glazed-over expression on his face and contemplated how beautiful Fandom was.

After the DVD is finished, the music is started. You can dance this week's dance or some other dance.

Sokka was NOT going to get up in front of everyone and do a burlesque dance... Instead he just hung out. Life was beautiful.

Rikku hopped up and started shimmying. Well, wiggling, but there were shimmy elements involved.

She bounced enthusiastically. "I don't have a gimmick! Do I need to think of one or should I just do the dance-thing they were doing?"

He wasn't angry. Sex didn't bother him so much as violence.

Speaking from personal experience, singing this song and actually doing the "! ! !!!" (no, seriously, that's the way it's transcribed in the book of the musical, or at least the copy I checked out of the library) parts?

Entirely not something I'd recommend anyone do while sitting in a swivelly desk chair at work.

It makes you look really weird. o.O
