Vernal Equinox
Happy Spring!
To celebrate the coming of spring and warm weather and the all-too-slowly approaching Easter and because she was in a generally insanely good mood, Rosette made cupcakes for any visitors that the church might get today, in bright spring-like colours.
At least, they could have been cupcakes. Rosette claimed they were cupcakes, and they vaguely resembled them, anyway.
Chrono wasn't going near them. That was for sure. Which also meant that he wasn't going near Rosette because she would probably make him eat one.
He tried to stay by the door, so he could warn the others before it was too late.

"John!" Rosette bounced and hoped he wasn't upset over her little disappearing act this morning. Maybe cupcakes will help! "Hi! Cupcakes! Have some!"
She presented him with a plate of some very suspect looking desserts. With very bright frosting. It was hard to tell, but a few might even be glowing. Or it was an effect of the light and pastels. Who knew?

Oh God! She was killing John Connor! Rosette flailed a little bit. Crap! Ack! What did she do? Panic, panic, panic!
And then the panic settled enough for her to kneel down behind John, wrapping her arms around his waist and squeezing as best she could, a very failed attempt to try to initiate some sort of CPR. Which she had no idea how to actually do.
SQUEEEEZE! "No dying, John, dammit!"

He kinda noticed the position she was in, half astride. "Hi." He grinned.

But Rosette decided to stick with the second part of this rather than that first. She relaxed a little, and grinned back a bit. "Hey."

"...Really? In jus'...that little bit of time?"

The grin was moving quickly into a beam.

"You're a dork," she told him, admiringly, for lack of anything else to say. That wouldn't be...yeah, one of those things.

She stopped. She blinked. She dropped her arms and looked at John. "Hey. What are you an' me anyway?"
