Another food shipment had arrived at Café Fina this morning, and Lumiere was hesitant to investigate the contents. Between the exploding pants and the chocobo eggs, he was starting to dread discovering what was inside. Most of the time, it wasn't what he had ordered in the first place (honestly, you'd think it would be easier to get snails and the legs of frogs in a place like this).
So Lumiere was holding his breath and standing back as the cheese grater pried the top off of the crate that supposedly contained foodstuffs.
It shouldn't have surprised him that the contents were perfectly normal today, but they were, and he was.
Wild.

Today's Specials Board reads:
Pork Tenderloin with Camembert Sauce-- Enjoy it while you can, it might have run away by tomorrow, knowing this place.

Lumiere was so baffled, he decided to spend the day doing something odd to make up for it.
Ping-pong with candlesticks is the name of the insanity at Fina today.

(OCD is ~~coming~~ up! Mmmm, pork tenderloin.)

Despite Lumiere's state of shock, the plates are rather pleased today. They'll be happy to sit you down, take your order, and serve you. If you ask nicely, they'll even take musical requests. You know, as giant plates mostly shaped like buxom women are wont to do.

Ping-pong is always more challenging without opposable thumbs, isn't it?

In other news, I seem to have re-discovered Dir en Grey. This has nothing to do with anything that happened at Fina today, but I felt like sharing anyhow.
