Annette found a pretty rock on the way to work. Pocketing it, she thought Gladys might appreciate it. Just because. But her good intentions were futile. Gladys took the rock, looked it over, and walked to the back door and threw it outside. "Rocks Belong Outside." And Annette wasn't quite sure, but she thought Gladys might have given her a look that was totally chastising. But it was hard to tell, what with those glowing eyes and everthing.

Leaving Gladys to her work, and totally not pouting, Annette found the letter from Mr. Moist and read it.

PS: Her name is Not Tiddles"

After reading the letter, Annette exclaimed, "Ooh, a kitty!" A minute later she found the cat sprawled on top of the counter. "Oh you are pretty!" She smiled and petted her, saying, "Who would name you Not Tiddles though? Kind of weird, eh? I mean if you're Not Tiddles, then who are you? Hm? You don't have to answer that but just know I would have given you a pretty name. Oh, I have something for you!" Digging into her bag, Annette pulled out a silky blue hair ribbon (why yes, she carries them with her wherever she goes) and tied it around Not Tiddles' neck, making a pretty bow. "There now, don't you look sweet."

Not Tiddles apparently didn't like the ribbon. She started to flail, if you can imagine a cat flailing. The ribbon came off and Not Tiddles began to shred it with her claws.

"Oh, you are a bad kitty. Bad bad. See if I ever bring you another treat again." At which point the cat looked at Annette and seemed to smile. Which was totally wrong. "Stop that. Stop eyeballing me. It's freaking me out."

John pops in to annoy Annette. Er, get a stamp or something.

She looks up from the magazine she was reading, "Oh, hey John."

"Heya! What's shakin?"

"Nothing. Unless you brought something for me to shake?"

"Nope. Can't say as I did," he said, smiling.

"...did you bring me anything?"

"Nope. Just me." There may have been a bit of shaking. But that's it.

"You is good enough," she smiled. "What can I do for you?"

"Now there's a loaded question," he said, innocently. "Just came up here to pester you."

"A loaded question?" She rested her elbows on the counter, her chin in her hands. "What do you mean, John?" Blink. Blink.

John does not stare at her ~~totally modded~~ cleavage. "Nevermind. How's your day?"

"It's going good so far. I've got a kitty," Annette looked around her, frowning. "But it's disappeared for right now. It was a bad kitty and ripped up my ribbon."

"You have a kitty?" Totally innocent. "Where'd it go?"

"I don't know. It was just here a minute ago." Annette twisted her lips and leaned on the counter again, looking at John. "It's name is Not Tiddles."

"Not-Tiddles? WHat kind of a name is that?"

"A weird one? I totally didn't name her. She belongs to Mr. Moist."

"And again, what a name." He smiled.

She smiled back, "Yeah, and I shouldn't have said mister, cause Moist does not like it. Just Moist or Mr. Lipwig."

Annette stared at John. "You came in here merely to pester me, uh?"

"Yep. Nuttin' better to do."

"But you're blocking the customer line." Of which, was currently empty, save for John himself.

John moves aside to let the next customer at the counter. Which means all he does is take a sidestep.

Annette gave him a beaming smile.

H gives her a goofy grin.

Gladys has glowing eyes and a rock hard body.

Annette cleaned them. The red and shiny are even more red and shiny. Don't you want to touch them?

Show me some skin! Come on! Just do it!

Never!

Yeah baby! woot! But...what's he holding there?

I swear he's not holding a monkey.

Possibly a banana?

Would you like to see his banana?

Does he have a banana?
