Fandom Post Office - Thursday 9-5
Katara was met at the door to the post office by an insistently meowing cat. She blinked and knelt down immediately to deliver the demanded scratches. When she looked back up at Gladys, she was convinced the golem had been snickering. If golems snicker.
"Mr. Lipwig. Found. Her. Food. Is. In. The. Back."
Katara scooped up the still meowing kitty and carried her into the back where she found Moist's note. "Not-Tiddles, hmm?" she asked the cat. "I guess that works."
She started unloading the mail, setting aside letters that needed to be delivered and sending back the random gelatinous cubes that had been misdelivered. In particular, she set aside a package for Mel that Katara would be sure to deliver later.
After all that Katara settled down to to play with Not-Tiddles. And love her and hug herand call her George and feed her bits of the sandwiches that were supposed to be Katara's lunch.

in the tiny window of availabilty I have, and was immediately distracted."Cat," he said, being as observant as he was. But it wasn't just a cat, but a cute one, cuddly one and...with the way Katara was handling it...maybe...their...cat? Maybe? Hopefully?

Re: Katara (and Not-Tiddles
Katara bounced at Chad. "Happy birthday! I've kept meaning to tell you and now I'm all late."
Re: Katara (and Not-Tiddles
"Thanks, Katara. Late's better than never, and even never would have been okay."
She did, after all, let him have the room to himself (well, okay, not himself, but you get the point) Saturday.
Re: Katara (and Not-Tiddles
the link's on my powerless computerit's in the room. I'll give it to you later." Katara watched Not-Tiddles and Chad with amusement. "I didn't know you liked cats. But she's really cute."Re: Katara (and Not-Tiddles
He continued to pet Not-Tiddles with very muted glee. Kitty, kitty, kitty. He didn't even mind when she started gnawing at the ends of his fingers, because even that was just too, too cute and he had thick skin there anyway, from all his guitar playing.

Re: Katara (and Not-Tiddles
"What's Momo here?" And, yeah, he'd have to agree that a flying lemur had to be pretty freakin' adorable, too, and Chad, at that moment, really, really wanted one...
Re: Katara (and Not-Tiddles
"He's a chinchilla, I think. And has the softest fur ever. I'll get Sokka to bring him down to the room sometime."
Re: Katara (and Not-Tiddles
"Chinchillas rock," Chad nodded. "I'd like that. Sokka's your brother, right?"
Re: Katara (and Not-Tiddles
"He's my older brother," she said. There was a roll of eyes. "Not that you'd know it."
