Angela had left shopping for prom to the last possible minute -- her birthday -- but was relieved to find Stuff for sale didn't seem to be sold out.
Though that didn't make the dresses attractive. She giggled at some bad ones as she flipped through the racks, pulling dresses she liked as well.

He made his way through the women's department when he spotted Angela going through the racks and grinned. "And here I was thinking girls were supposed to have arranged their dress ages ago," he said in way of greeting, quite possibly looking to get killed.

A dress caught her eye, and she held it up. "I can't decide if this is really amazing or hideous."

A small smile crossed her lips. "I'm trying to figure out if Marty and I should even try after graduation," she admitted. "The time thing is kind of big."

"I miss Veronica like crazy when she's not around," he admitted, leaning against a rack of fugly, but soft dresses. "But I haven't regretted it one minute. It's worth it."
