The Perk, Friday Late Morning/Early Afternoon

After Music is Love, Piper wandered over to the Perk. She had handwavily let some people know she was in town and hoped some of them would stop by for a visit. She got herself some coffee and sat down, waiting.

Cally bounced into the Perk with a big smile on her face. "Hey you," she said, heading over to where Piper was.

Piper grinned when Cally wandered over. "Hey!"

"It is so awesome to see you," Cally said, going for the hug.

Piper hugged back. "It's so good to see you, too. How are you?"

"I'm doing great," Cally said, pointing at the orange streaks in her hair. "I think I'm becoming more and more like my girlfriend."

"Orange. Why am I not surprised," Piper grinned. "They look pretty cool, though."

"Thanks," Cally said. "So... how's stuff with you? You and Lindsey and stuff?"

"Lindsey and I are good," Piper said happily. "And you and Mac?"

"As good as ever," Cally said. "We're goin' to prom tommorow. All dressed up in dresses and everything."

Bel found himself in need of some serious caffeine after class, so he headed over to the Perk to get some coffee.

He froze when he saw Piper. Well, this could be awkward.

Piper glanced up for a moment, spotting him. "Bel?"

"Piper, hey," Bel said, fidgeting awkwardly. "Umm. I've been meaning to call."

"It's okay," Piper said, feeling awkward as well. "I guess I could have called or something when I found out you were back."

"I'm sorry about what happened," Bel said. "About what I tried to do to you. I mean, what the Source tried."

"It wasn't you. I know that," Piper said, glancing down at the floor. "Besides, I'm the one who should be apologizing."

Bel blinked. "Why do you need to apologize?" he said. "You did what you had to do, I don't blame you for vanquishing the Source. It was the only choice you had."

"I wish there was more we could have done," Piper sighed. "And none of this would have happened if I hadn't made that potion..."

Look, it had taken Anders a lot of effort just to make it out of the dorms and go down to the Perk for coffee.

. . . he was about to get a possibly unpleasant surprise, wasn't he?

Piper glanced up after taking a sip her second cup of coffee. "Anders."

Oh yeah. Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust the person he wanted to see, who now probably had even more reasons to want to blow him up.

Anders facepalmed, then gave her a tight smile. "Piper. Hi."

"Hi," Piper replied, though her tone wasn't pleasant. "Didn't expect to see you while I was here."

"Didn't know you were here," Anders said in tones that weren't much more cordial. "I'd have made my own coffee if I did."

Piper smirked. "You're not afraid of me, are you?"

"Well, it's not like you can blow me up for sleeping with your son when I didn't actually do that," Anders grumbled.

Although your sister . . . and her boyfriend . . . and your sister and her boyfriend . . . that might be a different story.

"Fortunately for you, I'm not allowed to blow up human beings," Piper said, trying not to snicker. "Besides, Cally already told me she was wrong about you and Wyatt."
