Book Haven, Wednesday 10AM-1PM

Tori opened the bookstore and set out tea, coffee and pastries for potential customers. Taking a seat behind the counter, she sighed.

Yes, she was missing Aiden and Kimberly terribly.

As hard as she tried, she couldn't really concentrate on her notes. Flipping through a notebook, she found a page with colored scribbles and 'I love you, mommy' written on it. Yeah, that just made her more melancholy.

But, she couldn't help but crack a smile at the thought of him running around, safe and sound back home. And to have gotten the chance to known both him and Kimberly made her feel a bit happier. It had been a great few days, that was for sure.

Angela stopped by the bookstore to look for a novel to distract her, and to say hi to her roommate. "Hey, Tori," she said, browsing the fiction.

Something drew her to the children's books.

"It's going to sound kind of silly," Angela warned. "But -- well, do you have any really good children's books?"

"Thanks," Angela said. She began browsing through the shelves, pulling down books she remembered from her childhood. "It's weird to already miss them, isn't it? The kids."

"I do," Angela said. "I don't want a kid yet, but ..." she sighed. "Having them felt so right."

Angela blushed as she moved to the counter with copies of a Dr. Seuss Book and The Babylon Play.

"What were yoours like?" she asked. "And I think I want these two books. Please."
